Sunset.🌞 West Coast, South Island, New Zealand
When travelling we don't ever really have a schedule. We just go where we please, when we please. The only thing that we do schedule is sunsets. We make a list of sunrise and sunset times. If we are at beach locations we make a list of high and low tides. Our calendar has the full moon dates for every month 🌚
This way we don't miss out on doing our favourite things beacuse we didn't know when they were.
Our Favourite sunsets in the whole world have always been in Thailand or New Zealand.
It's a combination of the beach, the extensive phenomenal nature and the fact that when we are there we are snapping the sunset daily.
People have always said "Oli, you take such awesome sunset photos"
I have a chuckle and declare I'm an amateur photographer taking photos of beautiful things.
Truth be told if you take photos of 365 daily sunsets then you are bound to find you have taken a few glorious shots. Throw in some water and nature and you've got a 5 star scene.
In fact, it's one of the reasons we travel. To capture beautiful sunsets all over the world 😃

One of the permanent falls in Milford Sound (can’t remember the name sorry). Went to Milford Sound for the first time last week after finishing the Routeburn track and wow! It was soooo beautiful 💙 towering cliff tops & cute lil seals definitely makes it a must do in NZ 🐬🐠
Here I am playing the waiting game, teased by every little twinge and wondering if this is it?! Right now I’m distracting myself with coffee, cake and photos. Here’s one from two years ago when we were trying for a baby and trying to work out where to travel after our Mexico plans were scuppered by Zika. Despite being on the other side of the world, it was New Zealand that won the vote. I still dream of that road trip now. This amazing mirror lake was one of the highlights 💕
Any tips for a mum-to-be who wishes labour would get a move on?! 🤰🏻
Just waiting at Wellington airport for my flight to come back up to Auckland to do my last three shifts but really wish I was flying back to Queenstown to do the Routeburn track all over again. This is Lake McKenzie which is at one of the huts along the track, absolutely freezing but worth the swim 💙🧜🏼♀️
The South Island kōkako a.k.a The Grey Ghost🇳🇿 ~ This native bird endemic to the South Island of NZ is thought to be extinct. The last recognised 20th century sighting was in 1967, but the search continues to go on - many believing they've captured its call. This is a drawing for a good friend who has dedicated the last 40 years searching for signs of New Zealand’s rarest forest bird. To Rhys✌🏼 #nzwildlife#kokako
spent my day off at work in and out of meetings and filing visa form ✅ after visa form ✅ but it’s OKAY because last week i had a mezze plate, and as everyone knows a spoonful of hummus equals to a month’s worth of happiness.
