The old shearing shed turned into accommodation.
Drove to Gulf Harbour for a market and ended up in Shakespear NP second Sunday in a row, now with a slightly longer trek.
Middle of nowhere off the beaten path
A stop off point for the timber trail. 80+kms of trail riding
Love going out and watching my boys play saturday sport. Eventhough it was only 2 degrees - the sun was out, which made for a picture perfect morning.
Rise and shine, we're halfway there! #humpday
Wellington harbour looking beautifully clam 👌

How dreamy is Whakahoro? Photos do not even do this place justice.
Finally made it to Shakespear NP today, started with the shortest walk (just 1 km 🙊) and may now hope to return one day for a longer route
We had the cutest little cabin to stay in for the nugget 10k trail run
It was nice to get away from the desk last week, for a break from writing the PhD. Completing the Aorangi Crossing with good mates was on the agenda. Being surrounded by native bush and wildlife certainly helped push the reset button.😎🌲🏃🏕 #hiking
Whilst I love my job nothing beats finishing work and taking the dog for a walk by the lake. I highly recommend it, even if you do not have a dog. Or live by a lake.
Sights like this bring such peace in moments of chaos 💕
