Since we can’t have apple pie for breakfast, the next best thing is apple cinnamon oats! I grated half an apple and chopped the rest and cooked it with some old fashioned oats and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. I topped it with more apples, walnuts, TJ’s super seed + ancient grain mix and drizzled some molasses on top. Also, we added a little cinnamon sugar on top to satisfy our sweet tooth 🍎✨
Hold up...did someone say Autumn 🍁 because today is the first day it ACTUALLY feels like it in Florida!!!😍🤗🙌🏼 *immediately grabs "winter" jackets from closet for slight breezy weather* 😂 Lunch today was Pumpkin Date Protein Oats🤤 --> 1/3 cup @quaker GF oats, 85 grams Froz @greengiant cauli rice, 1 chopped date, 3 TBSP pumpkin purée, 1 egg white, 1 scoop @sunwarriortribe vanilla protein, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 of a mashed 🍌& 1TBSP stevia. Topped mine with frozen 🍓, 1/2 🍌, dried cranberries, hempseeds, salted pumpkin seeds & slivered almonds! So good. Must try. Food coma now.👋🏼🤣

There's just something about 🍐Pear Crisp 🍐 in the fall. ....Now technically you could make this with apples, but we had ripe pears, so I used those...... ***PEAR FILLING***
7 pears, peeled and diced
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons raw honey
Half teaspoon salt
Half teaspoon nutmeg
3 tablespoons of lemon juice..... ***CRISP***
- One cup gluten-free oats
- Half cup gluten free flour (I was able to find this Pillsberry gluten-free flour. It has a blend of rice flour, potato starch, Pea fiber, tapioca starch,and xanthan gum)
- 1/4 cup baking blend sugar
- Half teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- One stick of butter, cut into pieces .... Now if you're like me, and you like extra crisp on top of the fruit - double the crisp topping.😉. ..... This dish would be counted as a carbohydrate. .... Make sure you don't overdo it.
Taking the extra 30 seconds to make raisin smiley faces on the chickies' oatmeal was worth the giggles they gave me. Now don't get me wrong here- this isn't something I do on the daily.
