It's just crazy to look back and see the differences. Anything worth having takes time and patiences. That's in regards to not just bodybuilding but life in general
I took awhile cause unlike others,I didn't have a mentor, I didn't have someone to tell me their past experience. I had to go through so many trials of error and to just understand what works and what doesn't. But it's all good, cause there's no such thing as failures just learning point.
My number 1 tip is to just take the first step, don't worry about how much protein you should take or what supplements you should buy
1)Hit the gym
3)Follow informative people, understand what they do and why they do it
Don't be a blind bat and follow aimlessly, there are tons of information out there, remember this is your experiment with your body, so take notes. What might work for you might not work for others. This is the beauty of the sport it's all about making small steps to beat you older you. Everything else is secondary.
Lastly is to push yourself and enjoy the process
Grab your foam roller and let's stretch your chest muscles. Continuous sitting at your desk will lengthen postural muscles and shorten chest-pec muscles😦 omg. This can cause havoc in your spine. 🔹This is an active stretch, please don't be floppy and day dream. 🔹Engage chest muscle, do all different angels 😏. 🔹Use water bottles if you don't have light weights at home. Foam roller is $10..make it happen 🤗 #pilatesfit#dynamicstretching#foamrolling
I honestly came into this sport of Bodybuilding thinking it was stupid, I didn't understand why people would put their bodies through so much hell for only a few moments on stage, but over the time I spent in this prep and the actual time I spent on stage, it grew on me. Now I honestly just crave more. I want to grow and develop my body and get that gold I deserve. First goal is go pro in @naturallyfitforlife (NFF) in Physique and Athletic since the card is good for a year.
I had an amazing experience being back stage and seeing all the competitors just freaking kill it and be so focused and driven toward their goals.
So eff all the BS, I'm in this now. I'm here for my gold and I want it. It's also a bonus that I just enjoy eating healthy, working out daily and doing 2-3 hours of cardio a day.
Be on the lookout for myself, @motivated4days & @twhite318.
Straight off the stairmaster so my face is all red and sweaty BUT so beyond stoked to be a new class instructor at my gym. I've seriously been wanting to do this for so long and I finally can 😻 So come to my classes if you want to get your booty kicked by ya girl 😼 Anyways, continuously grinding and making sure to kill each workout and balance this lifestyle with school and such. Hope everyone had a good Monday 💕
Monday Motivation. I am my own competition. I compare myself to no one. I push myself to beat "her"...the woman I was before. I push myself to be a better woman today than I was yesterday...some days I win. This was taken last year before the WBFFOKC show. I love the woman in that photo but I can't wait to meet the next version...💖#mondaymotivation#motivationmonday#camo#photooftheday

Diving into the week head first & sooo excited to get certified in a couple weeks 🐛👉🏻🦋🙌🏻
5 days out!!! I'm still struggling with feeling like I look way too skinny, but I had one of my mega super awesome gym friends tell me that he thought that it was so awesome and disciplined of me to have gotten this far for no other reason than to challenge myself. That made me super happy. And it is kinda cool to even be able to do this just because I want to! I'm getting excited! I can't wait for my post show meal of water, diet coke, and Artic Zero ice cream! #Iknowhowtoparty
