"Human consciousness should shape situations, situations should not shape human consciousness." Been working on learning how to determine my life for myself instead of allowing the situations in my life to determine how I react and feel on a day to day basis. I've become so accustomed to letting things that happen to me control my entire inner being when it should be the total opposite. It's truly a challenging thing to break away from.
The ocean is in constant flux, and when you spend a lot of time in it you become like a floating bottle with a message inside; you know you're going somewhere, sense you have purpose, but you also know you're at the mercy of the winds and currents, that surrendering may be your only good option. - Jaimal Yogis
After a lot of duck diving and dodging close outs the past couple of days, found me some turquoise, peeling gems this morning. 🌊🏄♀️😍 #lifeisbetterwhenyousurf
PRACTICE is the word of the day for the #BeyondBryceJournal with @yogabeyond and @bryceyoga
Digging deeper into myself with a 300 hour yoga teacher training has been such a journey. We have 5 days left and I have felt every emotion possible within these past 3 weeks. From pure bliss, happiness, joy, love, sadness, anger, guilt, shame and so many others. The practice for me is allowing myself to be OKAY with all feelings and emotions.
Yoga has helped me to really get to know myself on all levels and going through an immersion completely out of my daily routine has been the most beautiful and challenging. Bc when I am faced with my fears and my 'stuff' I have no where to go to distract myself. I have to feel it. And having such an amazing group of yogis around has been incredible ♥️ This is where the growth happens...OUTside of my comfort zone.
