Let's talk veggie burgers! Tricky little guys aren't they? They are known for being weird, mushy, falling apart easily...they can be a pretty big disappointment. -
This is why I basically have this veggie burger recipe memorized from @ohsheglows! It's not just a big pile of black beans.

What do you do to keep yourself healthy? 🌞 since coming back from the weekend at the festival I've been feeling a bit crappy so I've been doing as much as possible to make myself feel better! I've been taking a lot of rest and also making sure that I've been fuelling my body with plenty of fresh veggies and fruits 🥕🍌🍓🥒🍋 First thing this morning I made a fresh lemon and ginger shot and then for brekky I made this superfoods porridge, consisting of rolled oats, mashed banana, apple, chia seeds, cinnamon and surprisingly shredded zucchini and carrot! I got this recipe from @ohsheglows app and honestly I love it! Full of so many good nutrients and you can even taste the carrots and zucchini ☺️ taking the day now to chill out and do things I love, going to do some yoga, paint, walk the dogs, meditate, read some of my @themessyheads magazines and also catch up on Netflix! I have the whole day to really recover and I'm feeling so good already ✨☯️
I know I'm in a good place when I'm cooking up a storm. I have recently rediscovered the #ohsheglows 2nd cookbook and omg, I can to make everything!!! 😍 Here is the cabbage soup with homemade cashew sour cream which my Russian family said tastes and even smells exactly like sour cream, and they would know! This was so delicious on a rainy day. Léya helped mixed the spices and taste (many times over) the sour cream, she is being silly here. I also just noticed the glass water jug beside her... Probably not very safe :s . 🍅🍲🤗 Thank you @ohsheglows for these amazing recipes!

Road Trip Baking!
1) Pumpkin Muffins
2) Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies
3) Vegan GF Crackers 🌿✅
- all 3 are great road trip recipes from @ohsheglows 🌿💚 These crackers are even healthier when you make little sandwiches out of them with crunchy almond butter.
Vegan GF Crackers🌿
1/2 cup brown rice flour
1/2 cup while almonds ground
2 T ground flax
1 T nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp dried rosemary
Scant 1/4 tsp baking powder
2 T sesame seeds
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp olive oil •
Preheat oven to 350 - line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Grind almond to flour
Do not overprocess and sift to remove any big pieces. •
In large bowl mix dry ingredients. Add water and oil and knead with your hands until it all comes together. Shape into a ball. •
Place ball on parchment paper and roll dough until 1/8" thick ( I used another piece of parchment paper on top to keep it from sticking while rolling )
Slice into cracker shapes with pastry wheel.
Bake at 350 F for 18-20 mins until golden in colour and crisp.
