Presumably killing 32!!! Those 32 seafarers, 32 humans flesh, skin and blood burnt alive in SANCHI oiltanker including one innocent woman, all dead because of Chinese cargo ship collision, leaving the area and helpless Sanchi crew behind. That Chinese ship collided amidships the tanker, rupturing the hull then moved astern to separate herself and sailing away, causing enough amount of oxygen to find its way into volatile fuel tanks of Sanchi prompted to greater danger of explosion. Technically oil tanks of tankers are filled with inert gas to repel the oxygen as a safe measure to prevent any probability of explosion. In my opinion, this report is totally odd and unfair. You may don't know enough about marin and maritime fields but you can search for IMO regulations or ask organisations with technical expertise such as @marine_insight or @lloydsregister for their technical advice!
A sunken tanker carrying 42 million gallons of oil is causing one of the worst oil spills in history – and it's getting worse. After an oil tanker collided with a freighter boat in the East China Sea on Jan. 6, presumably killing 32, the oil spill now stretch for 52 square miles. Smoke and flames coming from the oil tanker “Sanchi” at sea off the eastern China coast. The Panama-registered, Iranian-operated tanker collided with the Hong Kong-registered bulk freighter CF Crystal and caught fire about 160 nautical miles east of Shanghai on January 6. The tanker was carrying 136,000 tonnes of highly flammable ultra-light crude oil and had a crew of 30 Iranians and two Bangladeshis, all of whom are believed to have died in the incident. Chinese maritime authorities have deployed deep-sea divers to assess the wreck and plug oil leaks.

The Buffalo was a steamer-oil tanker of the company DAPG, that preceded ESSO Germany. She was built in 1909 in Flensburg, Northern Germany. Her duty under that name was short: she was sold in 1914 to the company Tank Storage & Carriage Co. Ltd. from Shanghai and renamed Tacoma. She was Brocken up in Osaka, Japan, in 1933. This spectacular antique yard model was a gift the company ESSO Germany to our museum in 2015. The model is built in a scale of 1:50, which makes it almost 3 meters long. Together with its original display case it weights approximately 400 Kg. That’s the reason why it had to be carried with a crane to the deck 6 of our exhibition. Most of our colleagues still remember well that spectacular action.
