Zuhause. Die höfe sind vor 1000 jahren gegründet worden. Und seitdem umgebaut, erweitert, verbessert... und vor allem bewohnt! seit 1000 Jahren gehen Menschen über die Türschwelle. Demut. Home. The Farmhouse s have been founded 1000 years ago. Since then they have been enlarged, renovated, adjusted to the needs of the people who lived in. Since 1000 years people are stepping over the doorsill. Humbleness.
Finally got a little bit of snow this weekend! It’s already gone but it was pretty while it lasted. Today was spent stocking up on animal feed and putting weather stripping on the kitchen door. The kitchen is a long way from the wood stove so it gets pretty chilly in there but hopefully it will be a little better now that the cold air isn’t pouring in around the door. The front of the house is pretty airtight but we’ve a long way to go on getting the back half sealed up. One step at a time☺️
MUSH DOODLES!! Homeward bound. Walk No2, still snowing. Loads of cars stuck in the ditch and up the hills on main road to Hockliffe. The eighbours are supplying either tea and biscuits or withering stares, dependent on the driver. £25 it seems is the current rate for being pulled out of the snow #bedfordshire#england#uksnow#oldfarm#labradoodles#entrepreneurs
