Today's fragrance is Onyx Pearl by @agonistparfums - I first came across Agonist Parfums in @neimanmarcus Beverly Hills while on holidays. I fell in love with Solaris, a juicy, fruity fragrance that screams summer. When I returned to Melbourne I found them stocked at @thelaborganics so went in, spent a ridiculous amount of time testing them (the girls at the shop are amazing!) then purchased Onyx Pearl. It is a somewhat discordant blend of notes, creamy heliotrope, oud, leather, patchouli, but it is the white musk that dominates. I always get compliments when I wear this, so I spritz it on regularly 😉. Agonist Parfums is a niche perfume house based in Sweden. The standard bottles are beautiful and they also come in hand crafted bespoke bottles that are works of art (think Nordic inspired Murano glass sculpture) - check out their website to see what I mean - if you have the money, nothing would look better on your perfume shelf.
Cypres de Provence. Travelling through France down to Italy, the landscape plays home to a heady mix of fragrances - at once elegant and unmistakable, the woody notes of the cypress trees and sweet essence of orange blossoms are caught by the northern Mistral wind, infusing the air against the infinite Mediterranean horizon.
