There are barely any words to comprehend how god damn incredible Anastasia was tonight. I feel so lucky to have seen it with the original broadway cast and stage doored! I fully recommend it to anyone who gets the chance to see it and experience all the feels that come along with it. Things I learnt - Christy Altomare is a fucking goddess that gives me goosebumps when she belts out 'Journey to the past'. Derek Klena is genuinely one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen in my whole life and he can sing, dance and act (so pretty fucking perfect!) The lighting during 'Once upon a December' added to the feels intensely and also, I can't take photo's when I'm greeted by beautiful people.
Happy 20th Anniversary to the animated Anastasia! 💛👑 I firmly stand by the belief that the movie helped have who I am. She’s sassy, isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind and doesn’t care about being prim or proper. She is who she is, and I love that. 💙 Together in Paris, forever.

happy 20th anniversary to my favorite russian orphan princess, anastasia! this look is inspired by the movie anastasia by 20th century fox. i encourage everyone to go and check this movie out! i love that it is based off the real disappearance of princess anastasia. the music and characters are also very original and add so much to the story!
Happy 20th Anniversary to Anastasia! I went to see it on ice in 1998 and it only took me 18 more years to finally cosplay from it 😂. I’ll be seeing the new musical in less than a month for my birthday. I’m so excited! Photo by @depthoflight.photo
HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY ANASTASIA! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
20 years ago you took me on a journey to your past and ever since I've made you part of my present and future. You are my whole world, seriously. I have never felt such a connection to a character in my whole life and I will forever be touched by your fictional and real life story. All hail to the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanov.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY PRINCESS ANASTASIA!!! (Technically in a few hours)
My all time favorite animated princess. She means so much to me both as a character and as a movie. When I was little watching this movie made me feel like I was special, like I was pretty, and like I can do anything.
This specific costume that I've drawn her in inspired me more than I thought it ever could. When I was little and even until very recent I always do hair buns with an X in the back because that's how I thought they looked. Thinking back I did a lot of blue dresses a lot like hers. Little things like that that influence in my art wouldn't have happened without this movie.
Her as a character when I was little she was one of my heroes, she was beautiful and tough. As an adult I see a lot of my mother in her, from her looking for family, to Spitfire personality with a lot of sass, so much like my mother.
Let's talk about the songs, I know the lyrics to every one of them except for the one in Paris because that one for me isn't very memorable.
I know this isn't my greatest masterpiece but I put a lot of love into it and my short amount of time I had to make it. Thank you Don Bluth for making such an amazing movie along with your other masterpieces. Thank you Meg Ryan and Liz Callaway for voicing my hero masterfully.
Anastasia is one of my favorite non Disney animated films. I sure wish she was Disney so she's get more recognition! Since it's now a broadway production, I'm hoping to go to NY and see it someday after I see the Broadway production of Aladdin (as part of my broadway watching bucket list). I'm hoping that Carly Rae Jepsen gets to play Anya someday. She'd make an awesome Anya. I mean she played Cinderella on Broadway, and I'm hoping she comes back to Broadway someday! I'm hoping that if my first born child is a girl; I'll name her "Anastasia" with the middle name "Marie" and with the nickname "Anya". #anastasia#donbluth#20thcenturyfox#princessanastasiaromanov#nondisneyprincess#anastasiabroadway#onceuponadecember
Tried on the crinoline I got for my Anastasia dress. Looks nice! The dress needs a lot of alterations and a layer of organza I forgot to put on, but it was fun to finally pick up cosplay again for a lil bit. #anastasia#anastasiacosplay#onceuponadecember
