Are you bored? Not seeing results? Then it's time to switch it up. How you execute your training is key. 
You can adjust the intensity by simply switching up the, weights, reps, sets, rest periods, tempo, super sets, tri sets, giant sets, drop sets... the list goes on. But keeping form is a must! Your body may not used to these changes so ease yourself into them and hit progressions week by week. 
A simple and very effective way of making your workout intensity higher is setting yourself a time frame. Get in get out, don't waste time by texting, checking social media etc. Get the job done smash your workout in 45 minutes compared to an hour and half.

⭕️ - Whilst this question is something I like to receive, because it shows that people have a genuine interest in what I do, it's always clear cut in my head.... I simply wouldn't be competing if I felt I wasn't ready. It's the same reason you NEVER see me skip or miss ticking off any of my boxes. For the last 38 weeks I've not come 'off plan' once 💁🏻‍♂️.

Gode vaner er mer enn å bare velge egg framfor snickers. Gode vaner er å pusse tenna, vaske klær, sjekke oljen på bilen osv. Du har sannsynligvis en hel masse gode vaner du gjør hver dag uten å tenke på det🙋🏼‍♂️

Trening kan være dødsgøy. Særlig i starten når du legger til mer vekt hver eneste økt. Etter denne ultramorsomme og motiverende starten så er det den gode vanen som får deg videre📈

Trening tre dager i uken går på autopilot hos de som gjennomfører hver uke. Det er ikke alltid de har dritlyst, men de gjør det likevel. Og de angrer aldri. Akkurat som å pusse tenna før du legger deg, sjelden noe å angre på. Det er ikke sånn at jeg har lyst til å poste noe hver dag på sosiale medier jeg heller, men jeg poster en post hver dag likevel. For det har blitt en god vane å vise fram hva jeg gjør, og dele personlig tankegods. Hvordan skal jeg ellers få lokket deg til meg? Ev skremt deg vekk👹. De siste sju-åtte postene har vært med/av kunder. Jeg har mange flere, men de får du ikke se her. Hos meg slipper du å være på utstilling👁. Har du angst for å bli sett på så burde du virkelig vurdere en prøvetime. Her er kun deg og meg, kanskje en annen trener og hans kunde, thats it. Why do you continue to battle with something that you actually power?

Like it’s pretty crazy when you think about it

You give it power
You give it control

And yet you spend a whole chunk of your time in this battle with it

A battle between you wanting to take actions that lead to you getting your dreams vs your fear wanting you to stay right where you are

And a large chunk of the time you let it win the battle too!

It’s why you go on this rollercoaster all week
It’s why you start the month on a high and end it lacking motivation
It’s why you have those voices that tell you no
It’s why you have a list as long as your arm of things you started but never followed through
It’s why you end up listening to lives and downloading freebies and sit there thinking but I already know all of this
It’s why you see an opportunity that gets you so excited but still find yourself not doing anything with it

Because for each of those you end up in a battle with fear, and fear on many of those occasions WINS

But why are you battling with it?

You do realise that the only power it has is whatever power you choose to give it?

You do realise that the only reason it can shout that loud is because you hand it the megaphone to do it with?

Would you allow a child to dictate to you what you were allowed to say, do or achieve?

No I doubt it, so why are you giving fear that power?

Would you allow anyone to tell you what you can or can’t achieve, or what dreams you can or can’t go after? 
No you probably wouldn’t, so why are you giving that power to fear?

We all have fear, fear is normal so it’s ok for this to happen!

Yes we all have fear and it is normal to feel fear, but the optional part is how much power you’re giving it!

The optional part is whether you end up in these constant battles with it

Battles that leave you feeling drained
Battles that leave you feeling tired
Battles that mean you miss out on things
Battles that mean weeks pass by before you get back on the bus to the results
Battles that mean you’re constantly pushing
Battles that mean it always feels so hard

So stop battling!

(Warm up joints and get your blood flowing)🌊
•Arnold Press superset w/reverse dumbbell flys - 5X15-20

It’s #wisdomwednesday 🗓again and this time I’ll like to discuss the numerous benefits of supersetting your exercises. It can be done in endless variations. 
1. Push/pull like benchpress/bend over rows 
2. Agonist/antagonist like biceps/triceps, or as shown here delts/pecs 
3. Upper/lower body like OHP and squats. Here’s why me and 99% of my clients train this way:
✔️Get MORE done in LESS time. I compare the gym to@a supermarket. Nobody cares how much time you wasted in there, all that matters is what you brought home.I’ll do 20 sets while you chat to other gymbimbos or check your FB likes like the guy in the background doing barely 8 sets in same time.
2. Keep up a higher tempo and elevated HR through the workout. Cardiovascular💓 and fat burning 🔥anyone?
3. The pictured superset is supersmart because the cable station is more popular than @justinbieber so once you get hold of it, you won’t let go. This way you don’t waste time looking/waiting for equipment.
4. Increased pump- thing @cellucor C4 Ultimate gave you a good pump?
Do chest/back followed by bi/tris in one session and you fly away like a helium filled balloon 🎈 💪🏻

Update: Currently feeling fluffy around the edges with minimal motivation. Training and nutrition has been far more average than I'd like, however with lots going on and a new job my priorities have changed slightly whilst I adjust. New training and goals have been set and I'm looking forward to making some solid progress. It's important we listen to our bodies and rest when we need.

If you can do that, life just works better!! #YouDoYou

Food volume makes a BIG difference👇👇👇👇👇.

Just because calories have come down doesn't mean you have to eat less. 
With a tweak of food sources you can increase the volume of food you eat,  whilst consuming the same or less calories.

This is where the graphic above comes in to use, the carb density graph above displays different sources of carbohydrate that all provide 50g of that macronutrient respectively.

This demonstrates how important it is to spend your calorie wallet wisely,

Looking at the graph, you are completely within your rights to choose whatever source of carbs you want, so long as you're adhering to your energy balance and getting your vits & minerals in to.

But be aware that if choose from the left side of the graph something like haribos or pasta you get a hell of a lot less total food than if you choose from the right, something like potatoes even though the carbohydrate content is pretty equal.

you see the potatoes or root vegetables we class as a volume food, these foods contain lots of water and are of a high fibre content which not only expand in the stomach they all slow how fast food leaves the gut.

Spend wisely and play the density spectrum.

Давайте поговорим об Углеводах🍕, и почему одни продукты, которые я включаю в ваш план питания, нельзя заменить на другие. 
Разберемся с самим понятием: Углеводы- название класса соединений происходит от слов «гидраты углерода». Т.е. формально Углеводы являются соединением Углерода и Воды.
Все углеводы состоят из отдельных «единиц», которыми являются сахариды и делятся на две группы: простые и сложные. 
Простые углеводы🍰 быстро повышают содержание сахара в крови и обладают высоким гликемическим индексом, поэтому их ещё называют быстрыми углеводами. Углеводы, состоящие из 3 или более единиц, называются сложными. Продукты, богатые сложными углеводами, постепенно повышают содержание глюкозы и имеют низкий гликемический индекс, поэтому их ещё называют медленными углеводами. 
Чем медленнее углеводы, тем меньше сахар полученный путем их расщипления, отложится в жир, а поступит в качестве резерной энергии в виде гликогега. Гликоген - главный  резервный запас полисахаридов у человека. Организм откладывает гликоген в печень (возможно накопление до 120гр гликогена) и в мышцах. И в случае необходимости гликоген быстро расщипляется на глюкозу вызывая выброс энергии.
Из этого всего следеут вывод: 
Сложные углеводы-хорошо, простые углеводы - Жиробасинье(но не всегда,я напишу пост, когда можно съесть сладенькое)!!! Сложные углеводы🍝 и низким гликемическим индексом(ГИ), приорететны(например дикий рис имеет более низкий ГИ, и по сравнению с ним обычный белый рис, чуть ли не "простой углевод") т к не откладываются в жир, а создают мощный энергетический запас, который мобилезуется при необходимости!
Так что дорогие мои ученики: отмазочки я ем сладкое, для того чтоб могз работал, приберигите для тренера-лоха... со мной такое не прокатит. Едим сложные углеводы и мозги будут пользоваться энергией из гликогена и на этом точка. Я могу включить в ваш рацион горький шоколад, а когда мы добьемся низкого процента жировой массы (естественно, здорово низкого), мы можем подключить день Читмила. Остальное отмазки, оправдывающие вашу слабую волю. Но вы же не такие?! Если мы поставили перед собой цель, то должны ее получить.  В противном случае, вы просто зря тратите время и финансы. 👇👇👇

To admit that we have done something wrong, but then make an excuse for it, is still not God’s way of facing truth. Naturally we want to justify ourselves and our actions, but the Bible says that our justification is found only in Jesus Christ (see Rom. 3:20-24). You and I are made right with God after sinning only by the blood of Jesus—not by our excuses.

**What your fat loss has stalled**

There are a number of reasons as to why your fat loss has stalled, however, you can boil them down to a few which will likely be the main culprits…
-
1- You think you're “doing more” than you actually are. You can be training every day if you wanted to, however, it's actually your general activity outside of your gym sessions that contributes more to your daily expenditure than the time spent in the gym. That’s not to say don't train, as this definitely plays a part, but more so focus on how much you move OUTSIDE the gym as well.

2 - You are underestimating food intake. So many factors can cause this - Not weighing food, not accounting for oils, sauces, and dressings, not accounting for meals out, not tracking all the “little” bits snacked on throughout the day etc. Either way, you could be eating more than you think

3- A general Fat Loss Fat Plateau. Through several adaptive mechanisms, you're now in a position of maintaining your weight, opposed to losing any. This is likely as where you have lost weight, your body now expends less over the course of the day. Less calories expended = less calories to be consumed to create a deficit.

Its not because you have a slow metabolism,  you aren't eating enough, or you are in "starvation mode” it is however because you aren't in a calorie deficit.

Keep activity levels up, and think about ways to increase these.

Track accurately, and account for everything you consume.

If you’re still failing to see progress, adjust your guidelines, and go again

When it comes to training legs I know a thing or two! I always get asked how I get my legs to look like they do. Obviously genetics are playing a role, I'm fairly gifted from the waist down, however I honestly believe the biggest factor is down to the intensity and mentally!

Who this is for:
-Guys and girls with a good training background who struggle building legs and glutes or struggle with the mentality of leg day.
Who this isn’t for:
-Beginners new to training.

So what’s the deal?
A pay by session leg day where we will put you through your paces and take your leg training to a whole new level. Looking at your mindset throughout the session and finding ways to push past those barriers. Correcting any technique issues that could be hindering your results.

Due to the nature of the session and my fully booked diary for the evenings I can only offer this service during the mid morning/afternoon or Saturday AM.
