Friends that see you in your weakest or most broken times but still see goodness, light, beauty, gentleness, kindness, and love inside of you - keep those ones around. Being known and totally loved is beyond anything money could buy or a reputation could get you. Thank God for people, you know?
"Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God’s word is not chained.”
2 Timothy 2:8-9 NIV
Part II of a BWCA series. It's this time of year that always gets me thinking about being there. It's the most peaceful place, a wilderness like no other. Traveling by canoe with the sounds of slightly crisp leaves in the wind and loon calls. Mid to late September is the best, no bugs, warm days, cool nights, good fishing and the occasional northern lights with moon rise... damn near perfection!
Goodbye to #sunshinesroad . Of course, it's not really my road, and it will remain an active road, probably even busier. But I won't be taking any more photos here. All that stands along this road on the left is my mother's-in-law house. All of the trees have been clear cut, new roads are being built, as the developers are preparing to build townhouses and apartments. Her house will likely go down sometime this week. I'll miss this spot, but there will be other roads.
"I have been in Owatonna now for 17 years. Moved here from Denver Colorado and I love this town because it is small, it is quaint, you know people, people know you.
It's easy to raise kids here, be involved in their lives, have other people involved in their lives whether they're family or not. Everybody kind of takes a liking and the role of watching out for everybody. And coming from a large city, you don't always get that." #HeartsOfOwatonna#ForOwatonna#VisitOwatonna#OnlyInMN#BestMNTown
Double tap if you think that while friends are great, siblings are even better. These three are my favorite. I can't imagine life without any of them (well, I can, it's not pretty!). Each of them are so unique and yet so one of us. Can't wait to adventure again with these three!
