Swimming tip - be comfortable being uncomfortable.
Have most of your training is race based training to get yourself used to training at high speeds. This definitely will make you uncomfortable most of the time. The upside is in a race, you’ll be used to the feeling.
🚹Choppy!! Had a few small waves this morning really good swim though. Open water is always better than swimming pool 🏊 training . I’ve only been on the open water bug for 9 months but getting there now. Paul swam with me this morning ( caught him in pic 2 ) it was initially a tad cold and raining but got a good time and consistency.
