Sorry for anyone who doesnt hunt.... Been using my old Tru-ball wrist release since i did my hand and thought id get alittle #wildfood for the animals around the house. Placed a frontal shot at 68m and he was down in litterally 2 secs not knowing what happened. This is what we train for day in day out! Having the highest of respect for the animal for a humane and merciful clean kill, doing your study on the vital organs ensuring you hit the mark to the cm. I know for a FACT its a better way to go then getting eaten alive by a fox or other predators in Australia. #whatgetsyououtdoors#bowtech#diamondarcherybybowtech#diamondarchery#organicmeat
Had a candid interview with a slaughterhouse worker about their unreliable “humane” methods that they use to incapacitate the animals. I would have to say this was the quick rated “G” version of what goes on. I want people to become more aware of WHO they are putting on their plate. Humane means to show compassion...can you humanely kill someone that doesn’t want to die with a bolt gun that doesn’t always stun them and a shotgun to the head after that if the bolt gun doesn’t work? Would you be okay with this “humane” method of killing if this happened to your dog/cat...or you? Every time we put money down to consume animal products we support this cruelty and violence to the most vulnerable beings on the planet....it’s 2018 it’s UNNECESSARY and we can’t morally justify this.
Smoked wild boar mixed with ground elk create the perfect blend of wild flavor. Top that with beer battered onion rings, bbq sauce and my special sauce and you’ve got a burger for the ages! Eat wild!!! #fromfieldtoplate#burger
The average life span of a wild deer is 4.5 years due to disease, cold weather, and predation. Life in the wild is rough especially for bucks the rut kicks in the middle of November and bucks barely consume enough food as they’re busy chasing does to breed that are in heat, by the tail end of the rut temperatures plummet into the low negatives in December, and food sources are more scarce, and the deer are exhausted from the rut. The natural mortality rate is high at this time, as a hunter it’s exhausting hearing peoples uneducated opinions on how hunting is cruel, and to leave the deer alone. Yet this doe in the photo for example was an older doe around 4 years old at the end of her life in the wild, she was harvested humanely and fed me and my family. My license to hunt this doe paid for SRD conservation programs (such as aerial ungulate surveys), so tell me what is wrong with this? Maybe we have lost our connection of where our food comes from and we are ignorant to the matter that in this day and age hunting is conservation.
