The Nepali people who live in these mountains and hills are mostly poor. Working a plot of land just to get by and feed their families. It was incredible to sit and see how they’ve cultivated pockets of land on steep banks(right corner of shot). Most families have a water buffalo used strictly for milk and cheese and perhaps a few goats too if they are lucky. Humbled to have spent some time in these lands with these kind and gracious hosts. ...back to Kathmandu!

A lyrical warning to all the hiking trails around BC next summer: “These boots are made for walking, and that’s just what they’ll do, one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you”....Are you ready?

“When we contemplate the whole globe as one great dewdrop, striped and dotted with continents and islands, flying through space with other stars all singing and shining together as one, the whole universe appears as an infinite storm of beauty.” #JohnMuir

Warming up my Lambor-feeties after a long day over Bishop Pass. How many of you have had the fire claim some gear? I shortly lost my favorite pair of @darntoughvermont after this picture. RIP. DISCLAIMER: It was not the pair shown on my feet 🔥⛺️👣⛺️🔥
@ospreypacks "This morning routine was a special one, as we were able to lube our chains and fill up our Osprey hydration packs with Everest peaking out from the clouds in the distance. The energy of the world’s highest mountain guided us ( or should we say stuck with us?) throughout the entire day.” - @frannyjh | 📷: @wrkshrt | #ospreypacks#andshesdopetoo
Approaching Gosainkunda (background) where we climbed to 4,380m altitude. Hunter at 6yo and Ryder at 8yo made it to the peak that not all adults can successfully summit. I’m so proud of my warriors. #crossingasia @theaniccaway
Our little warriors just may be the youngest foreign kids to take on Gosainkunda (and succeed). Here we are departing our lodge on Day 2, after a first day of grueling climbing from 1,960m altitude to 3,330m. I’m so proud of all of us. All proceeds raised from our fundraisers are being 100% donated to the women and kids of @herfarmnepal as we trek for domestic violence awareness. #crossingasia
