The Sloan toque is coming back! Despite it being 40 degrees outside the day of the @Etsy show, you guys were still asking about the Sloan toque! Well, I’m happy to say that it will be available at both the @mistletoeivyottawa show on Nov. 4, and the @613flea Christmas show on Dec. 2. Mark your calendars! Those are the only two markets I am doing between now and Christmas. 🎄❤️❄️
Not a fan of jumbo size poms? I also carry a limited number of medium sized ones for custom orders. Send me a DM for inquiries. I’ll also bring them with me to my next market @mistletoeivyottawa next month! 🙌❤️
I first started this project three years ago. Made it far too big; steeked the side seams to make it fit. Finally finished weaving in the ends about 18 months ago. I wear it occasionally, but I’m never completely comfortable in it. The neckline is far too open, and I’ve never liked the little bit of poof in the sleeves. One of the nice thing about being a maker is that I also know how to change things 😊. #handmadewardrobe#slowfashion#topstykke#linen#alterations#ottawamaker#knittersofinstagram
Ottawa area folks -- stop by the Constance Bay Community Market from 9 to 2 tomorrow. It's the last outdoor market this season. I'll be there with gemstone jewelry and home decor. You can place an order for a custom family tree of life like this one I made for a market shopper. If you can't make it to the market, check out the link in my profile to shop online.
A few days ago, the lovely Alison @allhailtheyarn asked what I was up to #widn . If you love pretty colours and squishy textures, you'll enjoy following along with her. Well, the short answer is eVeRyThInG 😆. I have been so crazy busy these past couple of weeks that the days just seem to fly by. I started full-time at Carleton University (awesome but so tiring!), I'm hustling hard to prepare for Etsy Made in Canada (9 days away!) and I'm doing my best to enjoy these last few summery days.
I took a moment last night to make something new (something about us crocheters/knitters, if we go too long without starting a new project, we start to go squirrely!). This morning I'm finishing off this Sprinkles Cowl, a new pattern by @leftinknots. This is the first cowl I've ever made, and I just love it. The texture is what drew me to it, and the name of this stitch is Baby Bean, how adorable is that?! Check out the FREE pattern over at Megan's blog.
I'd love to know what @mariasbluecrayon @tscrochetshoppe and @holycowlhandmade are up to, if you ladies would like to play!

Witch's Brew Bath Bombs!
Each one comes in its own reusable mini cauldron and they come in multiple scents and colours. Which one will you get? 🤷
Limited quantities only and will premiere at #EtsyMadeInCanada
New shifter knob for the tractor. I printed this out in PETG (the stuff that plastic pop bottles are made of) so that it will last a long time outside in wide temperature ranges as well as lots and lots of UV. I found a cool looking low poly skull online and modified it so I could embed a nut INSIDE THE SKULL so it will be super strong.
