Happy birthday to my (much) better half. I think this is my 14th year celebrating this guy's day of birth and though the years of big fun parties are becoming a distant memory, watching him choose to stay home on his special day and work on the garden with our girls, it's just another reminder that I made the right decision.. And obviously we were made for one another. #ipickedtherightone#getit#lovemesomepuns
Play is essential, and I don't get near enough of it. Thankfully Gavin does. He makes anything fun. As for me: worked all weekend (nurse job) and am heading into my main job (mom job) on complete empty. Praying for some divine energy to kick start tomorrow.
My girls had a weekend getaway celebrating @ceezstylediary's last days as a single woman. I spent the entire weekend sick, coughing, hacking and infecting all of them. And not once did they complain. They just rubbed my back, administered eye drops, making me tea and telling me not to feel bad. How lucky am I? There's no other girls I'd rather spa with, eat too much with, and routinely pass out at 10 with. These girls are not just some of my closest girlfriends but amazing aunties to my boys. And I am unbelievably blessed to have them. 💕#sistersfromanothermister#familygoals
Lots of bubbles, lots of opinions (needed and wanted 😀)
If you've ever had or thought of having a professional photo session (either by me or another photographer), I'd love it if you could please take a moment to answer a couple questions in my survey (Link in bio☝️☝️) I know everyone has opinions, and I'd love to hear them all. This is your opportunity to get your voice heard. This is an assignment for a business class I'm taking.
Feel free to tag a friend who has opinions on the matter :)
And please comment below to let me know you did it!! Thank you so very much!
❤️Today was one of those weird, deja vu type of days. When Lydia was 6 months old, we moved from a way too small apartment in the center of the city to a house in the ‘burbs. But today was spent in our old neighborhood. It was the strangest feeling to walk the old streets I walked with a newborn in a carrier, and to bring our not so small girl to our old favorite taco joint. Somehow, it was totally perfect though. We spent our time travel day practicing acts of kindness. ❤️
📚 We attended an amazing event for one of our favorite charities Milk and Bookies, an organization that encourages children to be philanthropists by giving books to children in high poverty schools. 📚
👚And Lydia’s outfit? Part of Primary’s #smallactbigkindness campaign this entire month Primary has been donating an outfit to a child in need for everyone that posts a picture on social media today sharing how their child will be kind and uses the hashtag.👚
I hope your day was filled with kindness, ours sure was! #milkandbookies
