I don't know about you ladies, but I love focusing on toning/strengthening my glutes and inner thighs!! Kettle bells sumo squats are a must for that!! I incorporate this exercise into my training at least once a week. Aim for 10 - 15 reps for 3 sets!! If you try this exercise,  let me know!! I want to hear about your results!! Lift dat booty!!!

My hike yesterday was only about 3 miles, but it was still a #greatworkout ! 💪🌞 It was a technical hike with good inclines and lots of FUN natural landscape to navigate: slippery boulders, steep bluffs, large rocks. Lots of off trailing #fitnessfun ❤ The 44 floors represents 440 feet of elevation (up only, it doesn't count coming back down!). Workout Walk done! Combined my normal (longer) dog walk with some conditioning. 5 miles, cross country in boots wearing a 10kg vest and carrying a 7.5kg kettlebell. For good measure I did 100 shoulder presses on each side with the kb as I went round. Your living room, back garden, the local park...anywhere can be a great place to get in a good workout.

And it doesn't need to take long! ⏰ 15 minutes... 10 minutes... 5 minutes, even 2 minutes... ANYTHING is better than nothing. -

Be inventive, grab any opportunity, and just do what YOU are capable of. You can always build up to doing more. -

People often set their standards too high and end up doing nothing for fear of failing.  Remember, you don't need to be perfect or go way out of your comfort zone (though a little outside is good 💃). Anything above what you normally do, no matter how small, is a win. It all counts 💪

These are 3 exercises that you can do anywhere you have a bench, and a 4th exercise (the body row) that you can do if there is any kind of horizontal rope or bar you can hang off of (if there isn't just leave this one out or make up your own alternative).

From top left and going clockwise we have:
- - Bench press ups

- Bench step ups -
- Lunge with foot on the bench (technically called a split squat)

- Body row
-

Start off with a set of 10 reps for each exercise (10 each side for step ups and lunges) and aim to complete 2-5 total circuits. -

A 1-2 minute rest between circuits is ideal.

You can build up to as many as 20 reps on each exercise depending on your fitness level and how tough it feels.

All together this makes a great little whole body workout:
-

The press ups work your arms, shoulders, chest and core.

The step ups and lunges work your legs, bum and core.
-
The body row works your arms, back and core again too.

Don't forget - ANYTHING is better than nothing, and it all counts.

Ugh, I was sweating bullets as it's humid as hell! Then on my walk some kinda insect bit my leg through my pants and it hurt like a MFer! I threw the damn thing into the woods on the trail I was on.... I should of look to see what it was... let's hope my leg doesn't fall off.
