Often times, I like to drive down to my favorite nearby hiking park in the early morning hours to catch the sunrise. I wish I had woken up earlier today because the sky was magic! Regardless of the colors, there is a special feeling when you're all alone in nature, when the rest of the people are still quiet.

“Friendship is God’s love shining through the eyes of your loved ones, calling you home to drink His(Her) nectar of all selfishness-dissolving unity. Friendship is God’s trumpet call, bidding the soul to destroy the partitions that separate it from other souls and from Him(Her.) True friendship unites two souls so completely that they reflect the unity of Spirit.
When true friendship exists between two souls and they seek spiritual love and God’s love together, when their only wish is to be of service to each other, their friendship produces the flame of Spirit. Through perfected divine friendship, mutually seeking spiritual perfection, you will find the one Great Friend.” #paramahansayogananda

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.
- Earl Nightingale
"We artists and crasftmen, we know one thing for sure. ⠀
It’s not our wine that makes us great, it’s what we put into it. ⠀
It’s the love we give to every thing we do. ⠀
It’s what we’re made of."⠀

A couple weeks ago, I was engaged to be married to a beautiful, loving man whom I love and adore. However, the last couple weeks, life has shifted into a different direction for both my fiancé and I.
Of our 4 years together, Cameron and I have been living in opposite ends of the world for half of them. While we’ve “made it work” and made the absolute best of our circumstances of living apart, and while we love and care for each other so much, we have courageously come to acknowledge a very important truth in our lives— that Cameron and I, unfortunately, have no foreseeable end to being apart. I love my life here in Bali and feel strongly that this is precisely where I need to be at this time for the evolution of my own heart and soul and to be of the highest service as possible in the world, and Cameron needs to grow roots in Canada so he too can thrive in all aspects of his life.
We are aware that life is guiding us both further and further in opposite directions. And by holding onto this relationship dynamic, it is holding us both back from some greatness and possibility that lies ahead in our own individual paths.
For this reason, we have bravely chosen to end the current dynamic of our relationship to reflect this truth. We have decided to consciously “uncouple,” (I can’t even call it a “break-up” because it just doesn’t feel like that…) but to completely let go of our future plans together and to live our lives individually.
It’s just that while love is everything, sometimes love alone just isn’t enough. Cameron and I love each other too much to stay in far away cages of loneliness, longing and void. We wish only the best for each other and fully support one another’s life path. This feels like the highest form of love— a true love that is beyond attachment. A love that is free and pure and based on the highest wishes for one another to live a balanced, happy and fulfilling lives.
Always in my heart, Cameron is truly the greatest human, and I have adored every moment of our over 4 years together. He has been my greatest teacher, healer, supporter, family, soul mate & best friend. I can only reflect upon our relationship together with love & gratitude.
"The definition of yoga is clearly defined - and its many paths have been clearly articulated by teachers for centuries. But the experience of yoga is deeply personal and subjective. You are studying yourself when you're studying yoga." - Jason Crandell
I was fascinated by the small overhang in this cliff, and I couldn't figure out why. It just drew my attention. Had I been 25 years younger I would have brought equipment to repel down for a closer look.
Time... what a cruel and beautiful thing you can be.
Schrecksee - to get to the lake you have to hike up 1140 m, but the view its worth every step🏃🏼🏃🏽♀️
We went there last Sunday with the best autumn weather you could dream of 🍁☀️ #GTtraveloctober#neuehorizonte
Perfect happiness is a beautiful sunset, the giggle of a grandchild, the first snowfall. It's the little things that make happy moments, not the grand events. Joy comes in sips, not gulps. - Sharon Draper
