I've never explained my writing process before but I'm going to try my best. So here we go:
The first thing I do is #brainstorm an idea. A lot of writers get a story idea from #inspiration out of the blue. That has never happened to me. Whenever I have to write a story I purposefully brainstorm #ideas . I write romance, character driven stories, so my stories start with the following.
Main character 1:
I do the same for Main character 2
I come up with ideas for that. I always draw from universal fears and even my own fears.
Mc 1 is technically my main character and the person who my story starts with. Mc 1 will have an initial goal, then that goal will disrupt their perfect world with mc2, and they'll go follow it until they realize they made a mistake. And they will complete the ultimate gesture which will make mc 2 forgive them.
Mc 2's flaw connects with mc 1 mostly by being their opposite extreme. As long as mc 2 makes them question their beliefs it works.
After that I #outline using a structure based on "Romancing the Beat", an awesome book I recommend for all writers writing any kind of romance. I'll make another blog post about outlining soon.
Then I #write my #firstdraft . It''s super bare bones. But sometimes I have almost the whole #scenes planned out. I don't know if I can really say I outline. I basically have a structure I'm working off in my mind but I write the #firstdraft immediately by #pantsing while keeping the #structure in mind.
Then I do a #seconddraft which is more developed and almost complete.
Then I do my #finaldraft which is basically fixing any major mistakes and making it clean and almost perfect.
Then I post my work on #instagram and #twitter and after a while I create #ebooks which I put on my blog.
And yeah that's my #process . I hope you enjoyed that and feel free to leave me any questions or talk about your process. Would love to hear.
Ghettopia “b” is looking sexy. And that green cord is stealing power from “a”: aka my house. Not cool. But it looks like a person casually talking on the phone so... small victories.. #artiseverywhere#outline#unexpected#stealing
My grandmother loved roses, she always plant them and care for them until they grew big and strong. I decided to draw this piece in remebrance of her. I going to add two more roses and be done for the night...Final drawing...
