I love to save my time and I do online shopping, which is in reality a good thing, if you get used to it. ✔️if you know your size, online stores have always your size. Use a filter & price scale. #easypizzy ✔️It's easy to use free delivery or click & collect services. Hotels are happy to help you with your parcel to be delivered to your room. #Hooray !
So what I did in London... I happily ordered online some beautiful stuff and waited for the delivery within 3-5 working days.
Several parcels were delivered without delay and on time, while I was busy at my meetings. But recently I'd placed a new order. After 10 days of delay I called the customer service desk and asked to be refunded as the parcel was requested to be delivered to sender/store ( I guess, the parcel was damaged). It took me 10 mins to sort out the cancellation with customer service desk. #reallyquick
I was sad for a moment and then I decided to do some offline shopping #oxfordstreet . Look at the windows of #selfridges .
I am not a shopaholic, however I couldn't resist a shopping spree.
Enjoyed truly my shopping eve and treated myself with some lovely and fancy dresses. #sauleagatasblogginglife#sauleagatasflorallife#london#uk#sauleagata#sauleagatastravellingnotes#sauleagatasrandomthoughts#windowshopping#oxfordstreet#selfridges#xmas#shopping#dresses#happy#onlineshopping
"I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything. There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now. And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any". - Hugh Laurie
I'm glad that @downwiththekidz17 and I made an impromptu decision to walk further out from Brunswick, and head towards Oxford Street, Leicester Square and then to Picadilly Circus to take photos of the Christmas lights tonight. I had only 40% left of my phone battery when we started, and then my camera battery went flat midway through and we didn't have our Oyster cards on us (as we initially only planned to go to Brunswick and back). But at the end of the night, we manage to navigate and walk back, my phone still had 15% battery left and needless to say, many nice photographs as memories of Christmas in London. And yeah, I saw a Papa John delivery motorcycle along the way and was reminded of 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'. It was one of the most inspiring movie I've watched with an amazing soundtrack. Also about seizing the moment kinda theme. Today seems to be about that, due to another experience I had at the British Library. Well, that's a story for another day :) #eveinlondon#christmas#christmasinlondon#oxfordstreet#december#winter
