Went to a mushroom cultivation and identification class. Got to inoculate my own log with blue #oystermushrooms . This log will now take a nap in a black bag in my bedroom till its spring and it's ready to fruit. Let's hope that when I open the bag, there will be no huge anaconda living in it. Bonus: the class took place in a beautiful art studios #ildanach_studios with a tour of their gorgeous space
Dinner last night: cream of mushroom medley soup topped w/ white truffle oil and parsley w/ arugula salad and crunchy garlic olive bread. The recipe calls for 1% cow milk, but I used #sodelicious unsweetened coconut milk because cow lactation is for baby cows, not humans.
