Sometimes taking on a challenge can be fun and refreshing. These girls and I had the most windy & cold skate sesh ever! I’m so glad they influenced me to get back out and on my board since I’ve still been working on getting my skate legs back. And then throw in some crazy winds, and being cold on top of that. Those feelings and fears of being uncomfortable, and dealing with difficulties we’d prefer to not even face, can sometimes hold you back from doing things. But then how can we grow and evolve? Or improve? Well since my injury, I’ve operated from fear, rarely even getting on my board. Some inspiration and motivation from these badass babes is what it took for me to not only skate & keep up, but also push through elements that were not ideal. I even took a fall pushing on some sand that I didn’t see with my hair blowing in my eyes. We toughed it all out, enjoyed some laughs, sunshine, and fresh ocean air. Of course all we want to do is smoothly cruise in our bikinis in the hot sun! (And wouldn’t it be nice to coast through life with just those easy chill summertime vibes?) But what truly builds your character is when you accept the unexpected and unfamiliar challenges as a fun new adventure to kick push & coast through. Who says challenges and difficulty can’t be fun? The reward for perseverance is what you learn from the experience. And to me, learning is fun. Sometimes just a positive adjustment in perspective can make what may seem very difficult, actually more enjoyable. Thank you @jaxelaina @makaylamenard for a fun adventure I would not have taken on alone!
Good day for a Sunday drive to watch some storms roll in. one thing leads to another and a 6 pack and watching waves sounds good. then I see some pretty ladies and do what every responsible male does- doughnuts... ended up popping a bead at 39 psi and driving away like it never happened lol #pnw#stormwatcher#moclips#pacificbeach#f150
