Yesterday was long run day in the streets of #PacoimaHills .
10.1 miles in around 1hr 36min 2sec
I supposed to have done 18 miles but wasn't able to do them. The day before I made the mistake of lifting weights, which left me sore. This caused my cadence to not be fast and long.
After mile 4, my pace started slowing down. Also, the environment was to dark for me to feel comfortable taking every step.
Definitely, another learning experience.
Today, early in the morning, was long run day through the streets and hills of #Pacoima and #HansenDam .
14.04 miles (22.59 kilometers) in 2 hours and 7 minutes
Definitely faster than the last time I did a 13 miler, and my muscles weren't screaming, at all, afterwards. That cold shower tho... 😚
When we reach the 200 meter mark, #XolotlItzcuintli sits down as a sign of protest they don't wanna continue lol ...one day we will cross toda La Milla 💪
Took them for a walk as it's my rest day since yesterday was hill run.
6.13 mile (9.86 kilometers) run in 56:56 minutes
I'm amazed how my average pace was relatively close to my last long run 😀
