Attacking the hip issue from the ground up. Stabilized a pronating foot, weak ankle, and wonky knee - and was able to slow run/walk 2 miles for the first time in months, relatively pain free. My left leg didn't know how to handle all the muscle fibers firing in correct patterns for the first mile, but the second felt really good. Not deluding myself about the arthritis or doing any real distance, but this felt promising as far as being able to do a "run" like this every once in a while. Everyone is fighting a secret battle. Its days like today that make me genuinely appreciate my health. When you have a disease it can be incredibly easy to get caught up in the moment and make food choices that will negatively affect you ie: a sneaky handful of cashews or almonds, but whilst I'm limited to the foods I can consume I still manage to eat a well balanced and cruelty free diet. Ive been in an immense amount of pain today and this is the only thing I can stomach (steamed pumpkin, sciracha and nooch) however, I will never take a day for granted when I do feel well, I will endevour to remain active and enjoy life to the fullest. SPLAY THOSE TOES
The toe of the human foot are supposed to splay and not be touching each other at rest
The problem with most footwear is that it crams the toes together and prevents the toes from spreading and working individually
Work towards interlacing your fingers between your toes, and moving your forefoot around for a minute or 2 per side
Another great way to give your toes some space and prevent them from constantly being crammed together is by using toe spreaders.
We suggest finding a shoe with a wide toe box, to allow your feet and toes to splay more. As you work on your foot and toe mobility, the last thing you want to do is cram them back in pointy/narrow shoes for 8+ hours a day

Some weekend #locomotion for you with the duck walk. This one is a heavy ankle mobility focus. Finer points are to make sure you weight transfers from your heel to the bottom (not the side!) of your big toe as you shift forward on the front leg with each step. You can also try longer strides and open up the hip of the back leg, really maximizing the reach of each step. Watch that #squat get easier!
Day 250: HEALTH UPDATE: The CT Scan showed that the tumor is spreading to my nose and sinus canals, and possibly to one my lymph node. This has made me a bit uncomfortable and suspectible to infection. We started a new treatment plan with the cannibas resin🍁-THC + CBD, which the combination has shown to slow, and sometimes kill, cancer growth, inhibit formation of new blood cells that feed a tumor, and help manage pain, fatigue, nausea, and other side effects. We will also start palliative radiation on Wednesday to aid in the shrinking of the tumor, inflammation and pain. Other than that, I'm eating and pooping, like a champ 😂, want my belly rubbed, and want to go on walks. Yesterday, our family gathered together in honor of my Grandpa Fairfield. We did things his way... we laughed, we ate, we reminisced, we watched the kids run around together and we celebrated 💕.
His life was full and he was loved deeply. I'll never forget those visits to grandma and grandpas house. There was always something to work on, a craft to create, a game to play or clothes to dress up in. Grandpa use to swing me on the palm of his hands... I'd knock on the door, wait for him to open it, then turn around and wait to sit down on his palms and go for a swing. I eventually started to get too big, but he'd still try 😂 .
I know Jesus was happy to welcome him home and I imagine his life in heaven will be filled with lots of laughter and joy as he reunites with his loved ones in waiting ❤️.
