Sometimes it's not the easiest riding a work in progress horse. I'll just be honest and say I've been feeling down a lot lately seeing everyone grow and get better when I've been feeling stuck, not getting anywhere and not getting any support. There's people who get all the pats on the back and get things handed to them. And I'm just standing there in the back of the crowd trying my hardest to become someone with this horse. I'll make a good run then the next day will just be off, I've gotten so tired of trying to be so competitive.
When I realized I am just here to learn, grow, become the best that I can...
& Just have fun✨💗
It's friyaaaay! Process video here of my last post (timelapse x 18- yes if only I painted that fast! 🕺🏼). And another round of me shoving the awesomeness of the upcoming @watercolorbootcamp online course all over for feed! Hahahahahaha bear with me guys because you "thinking" about it might cost you an additional $100USD if you don't grab the chance to get this all star (me included- Hahahaha I know right who am I kidding) stellar line up of watercolourists. I will be partnering up with @everleafpaperco to bring you the basics to watercolour which are essential to learning the rest of the skills you be learning in the course. Basics may sound boring and simple but really, it will be what will shape the way you think and work with watercolour. Watercolour is a very versatile tool - when I first started, I relied a lot on sourcing for tips on YouTube but it was so hard to learn about the elements of tools and how to use them. You can create your own style of patterns, florals, landscapes once you know what the tool can do for you instead of mimicking how to do what others are doing. Have you tried doing the same florals or same patterns that others are but somehow it didn't turn out the way you expected or wonder why it comes out so different? A lot of it is because of the materials used or the way they are being used. Small technical tweaks in the way you manage pigment, water and space planning can make a big difference in how your watercolour artwork turns out. Allow me to take you through your tools, the basic skills, as well as spending time just getting to know your brush so that we can create some magic together 😀 support me by clicking on my URL (in bio) Once you do; you will be entered in my giveaway draw for a kuretake gansai tambi 24 Colour set. Additionally, you will be invited to a 2 hour art jam session hosted by me where you can personally ask me any questions on troubleshooting your watercolor skills after the course (locally in singapore) - those overseas will not miss out either; I will make time for a similar Skype/ Google hangout session to get together! Today is the last day for presales guys. Still thinking? ❤️🤘🏻
