Y’all... purple cabbage!! You would not believe how exceptionally good it is with guacamole!! You no longer need tortilla chips!! #lifechanging ⠀
This took me 2 minutes to put together because we slow cooked the chicken on Sunday.⠀
- fresh purple cabbage hand torn into bite sized pieces⠀
- 1 palm shredded chicken⠀
- 1/2 an avocado⠀
- 3 fork fulls of Chris’s Clean Salsa (recipe link in bio)⠀
- sea salt to taste⠀
If we had any made, I’d have added a dollop of homemade olive oil mayo but it was delicious without it, too.⠀
Talking about Food-as-Medicine and how rigid plans can create disconnect in your body! All too often we allow doctrine to drive our diet and this can at times create more harm and imbalance. I experienced this personally as a vegan with brain-fog neuropathy, and anemia!! Listen to the signals of your body, be intuitive and remember over-restriction often leads to over-compensation! Eat real food, enjoy the process and remember it is ok to fluctuate and change with season, stress, hormonal shifts, exercise output and go with the flow. Often release and reconnecting is the key to healing and achieving metabolic balance!!! What Diets or protocols have worked for you and what has not??

These Pumpkin Pie Squares came out of a desire to create a square that captures the flavor of my (pre-paleo) pumpkin pie recipe, a family secret that is such a unique and wonderful flavor that it has converted non-pumpkin pie lovers. The result... a moist, delicious square that is every bit as satisfying as a piece of my original pumpkin pie but avoids dairy, grains and legumes.
1 cup pumpkin puree
½ cup brown sugar/sucanat
1 cup blanched almond flour
2 tsp coconut flour
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp ground ginger
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tsp cloves
½ tsp allspice
½ tsp cardamom
¼ cup walnuts

PEAR AND BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP (HIGH IN PROTEIN!)🍐💛🍲.
Butternut squash and pear make the perfecting PEARing (🤣 omg, I’m so lame!), but the other ingredients also lend a ton of delicious flavor to this dreamy orange soup: carrots 🥕 , sweet onion and fresh, velvety sage! 🌱.
This creamy soup also gets some added protein 💪🏻 thanks to @bonafideprovisions organic turkey 🦃 bone broth! I love adding bone broth to different dishes for that extra boost!
And what is soup without crackers?!? I am luuuhving @simplemills original sprouted seed crackers (made with sunflower 🌻, flax, and chia!)! They are super crunchy, high in omega-3s and are gluten/grain free!

I can't tell you how many people I've known for years that haven't even said "Good Job!" Or "Congratulations!" But there are sooo many more that I haven't even met in person that consistently support me on this journey. Just know that if the contact has changed, this is why. This will be a two way street or a dead end because I'm not here to just support you and you treat me like a fan. I don't wish no harm or failure on anyone, I've just made it a point to support those that support me, period. 😊
Today, I used ground beef to make a roulade. I seasoned the beef with garlic powder, small chopped onion, paprika, small chopped red bell pepper, salt and pepper. Then I spread the mixture on plastic film and press it. Fill it with bacon, turkey breast and emmenthal cheese and roll it. Put bacon all around it and take it to the oven. Delicious low carb option. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷hoje eu usei carne moída para fazer um rocambole de carne. Eu temperei a carne com alho em pó, cebola e pimentão vermelho bem pequenininhos, paprika, sal e pimenta. Espalhei a mistura em cima de um plástico filme e abro com as mãos. Recheie com peito de peru, bacon e queijo emmenthal. Enrolei bacon ao redor e assei. Uma ótima opção para dieta low carb!!
