Now we don’t even hear about it much at all but the recipes where amazing and more important beyond the gimmick that most people would try and sell the diet as was the fact that there were so many healthy attritibes to living a paleo diet. What’s even better about this recipe is the fact that it’s also vegan 🌱🙌

Sometimes I just want something sweet. When I do, I make something that satisfies that craving AND is packed with so much more. My Cacao Hemp Tahini Date Balls has the sweetness of dates, cinnamon and cacao (cocoa also works, cacao is just higher in antioxidants) with some healthy fats from walnuts and tahini AND @furtherfood collagen peptides for healthy skin, nails and joints.⠀
Dates are higher in sugar naturally than other fruits, so I just have a few. These freeze real well, so I can make a batch once and be set for a while.⠀

1) roast sweet potato wedges + brussels + avocado oil + smokey spice blend at 400° for ~45 min depending on how CRISPY you like em ☺️
2) pan sear burgers (mine are from @butcher_box 🤤) for ~4 min a side
3) dress greens with your choice of dressing (I used @primalkitchenfoods Greek vinaigrette)
4) add sliced avocado and @primalkitchenfoods Chipotle lime mayo (GAME CHANGER. thank youuuuu @thrivemkt 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼)
I have a burger + sweet potato at least once a week because of how easy and flexible it is! Just make sure you have greens + dressing + burger + veggies + sweet potatoes. •

Quick dinner salad for 1!🥗💚 I wasn’t super hungry but knew If I didn’t eat I’d be starving later! Spring mix, walnuts, carrots, raisins, green olives, hard boiled eggs, and the best apples. I dress my salads with black pepper, olive oil and red wine vinegar. Yum😋😋

DAY FIFTEEN: Guess who just finished making a batch of booch? Aka kombucha. I was excited for this batch because now that I have a juicer I was able to add homemade fruit juice instead of fruit chunks which often get stuck in my spring top bottles 😖. For this batch I used green apple and ginger juice 😍 I’m adding this to my roster of nighttime anti-bloat drinks. What I love about making my own kombucha is that it’s ultra dry the way I like it. I make sure that a lot of the sugar gets eaten up. I do kind of feel like I can taste the green apple, but I’ll definitely add more ginger next time.
As a bloat update, I do still have bloating but I haven’t had anymore painful bloating which I’m pleased about. And the feeling usually goes away once I lay down in bed. So there’s some progress! #antibloat#kombucha#homemadekombucha#beatthebloat

I'm trying to be more prepared for my days. I'm meal prepping earlier, choosing simpler foods, putting the dishes away at night, I even bought my kids' class Valentine's today. That's way ahead of time for me. These efforts are primarily for stress reduction and more space for fun in our days. Slow cooker recipes are awesome for this.
