Here are a couple of well analyzed lactogenic foods, methods and foods to aid in a healthy secretion of breast milk. Always CONSULT w/ your HCP before using herbs, seeds, etc
⏩#Fenugreek - The oldest methods in the book for lactation. This popular Indian seed works to increase prolactin levels in the mother body. It generally works within 24-72 hours depending on the mother. If you are suffering from asthma, or diabetes and you want to use fenugreek, only do so under HCP orders. Pregnant women do not need to use it while #pregnant as it can cause uterine contractions.
⏩#Papaya - Can boost the production of oxytocin which with milk production
⏩Barley- barley is one of the top lactogenic Foods check out the book (The material of Medicine) which breaks down the top ten. Barley works by using actively using Tryptophan as a precursor for serotonin. Serotonin works to support lactation. As dopamine suppress prolactin levels, Barley counter acts it. It's rich in Polysaccharides, fiber, etc. As barley uses beta glucan to stimulate #prolactin levels.
__ ⏩ #RaspberryLeaf (Check out the full post further down)
⏩Nettle- Contains many essential nutrients and aminos. It too is often used for nursing cattle. It supports your #thyroid and has a ton of healing nutrients.
⏩Shatavari as well has #Moringa we're both used in blind placebo-controlled studies. Shatavari root showed magnificent effects on prolactin levels.
⏩Alfalfa- One of the major sprouts used for #nursing Cattle. It along with Fennel contains phytoestrogens (plant-estrogens) which can increase breast tissue and milk supply. Use the sprouts and not the PILL form.
⏩ #Fennel -Used by the ancient greeks to help produce breastmilk. Fennel contains anethole which works as a Phytoestrogens. (Keep in mind not all Phytoestrogens are bad) The best part is the leaf of the fennel but it looks like seeds. Fennel seeds promote growth of breast tissue which results to an increase of lactation volume and improve the quality of breast milk. (DO NOT USE FENNEL OIL. It does pose a toxicity risk.)
⚡️Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We are all meant to SHINE, as children do.⚡️by Marianne Williamson
I wish you guys a wonderful weekend🎉 Keep taking care of yourself the way that makes you feel good!! Enjoy yourself😘
Papaya smoothies for our afternoon snack today 🖤 for two smoothies I did 1 cup of papaya (I’ll freeze the rest) 1 banana 1 cup pineapple a few drops of ginger oil and thinned it out with almond milk. Super fresh tasting which is really nice on a winter day.
A papaya a day keeps the doctor away! (jk it gives you double ear infections an eye infection and a fever of 103)🙄 .
All jokes aside... Baby is doing a little bit better. Still shit. But it’s not shittier. Silver lining! And we do eat papaya every day. With a squeeze of lime, my favorite. Did you know you can plant the seeds just as they are and grow tiny little papaya trees? Or you can roast the seeds and eat them, they’re spicy. And good for you!
Today @dennisfromsalad took this photo of me having mine by the pool looking Instagram AF🙃🌺☀️ (when in reality I held a crying baby for ten hours and “went to bed” at 8am feeling like absolute crap). Having a pool makes everything look glamorous! Luckily I can’t not speak the truth in the caption. Right now? I’m lying on the floor with my head propped up against the crib. Intensely uncomfortable. Feverish baby sleeping on my chest. These days any sleep at all is gold. I’m not moving an inch. Day 3 of fever - should be better tonight no? Let’s hope. x #teamnosleep#motherhood#papaya
Essentially food is a low level way of the body using electrons to make light in the body. Our cells when they die produce biophotonic bursts of light which the living cells use to stay alive. Interesting metaphore when you think about it.
We need light more than we do food. Food is just a way for our bacteria to biologically transmutate that food into energetic frequencies that our body recognizes as "vitamins" and "minerals". We think we feed ourselves but we don't. We feed bacteria who create light and then turn food into frequencies we can use.
So what does all this mean?
We're meant to eat local food that's exposed to the same light frequences as we are. An Eskimo shouldn't be eating a #Durian for example. We are beings of light condenced into a lower vibrational corporeal form. Light is the primary reason we should eat local and eat seasonal. When we don't eat local or #eatseasonal (the same thing happens btw when we wear sunglasses) we send biologically inconsistent messages to our #bacteria , our #mitochondria and our #DNA . Remember our mitochondria is what controls genetic expression (can you read between the lines?). On a physical level, disconnection and lack of communication is the cause of disease. We get #sick when we become disconnected from the earth, from light, from God, from ourselves and from eachother. It's no wonder we break down and only live to 75 years old. The more I learn about light, spirituality and our bodies the more I see it's all connected.
