Having my portion of a French pasty with my @goodafternine ring 🌸 / Даже те люди, которые безразличны к сладостям и хлебо-булочным изделиям, едва ли смогут устоять и не быть очарованными витринами парижских boulangerie. Правда, мое пирожное выглядит как произведение искусства? 😍 А теперь бегу за порцией хрустящего хлеба! Всем отличного дня 💕

So FINALLY the blog layout is set in place. I think my journey of self-discovery (🙃) and understand where priorities lie and that some things, no matter how large the dream sometimes are halted by technical / digital difficulties has come a long way. And that done is better than good (my guru @sandracoan wrote me this on a dinner receipt one day while we were out in Seattle together and it's stuck on my wall at the office and in my head constantly but I wasn't ready to hear it fully. I am now!). I'm thinking of doing around 10 posts to start the blog off with a bang and filled with various different content for you guys to get a feel of what Hikarui is all about. I'm definitely now wanting to share with you my different previous home page website layouts and what it looks like today. I paid a lot of money, spent a lot of time and energy investing into this blog. Do I regret anything? No not really because while to some it may seem like a waste, you and your business are worth investing in even if you lose out on the way. Your passion is more so worth investing it. Each of the steps I took to finally get here I think had a purpose and taught me a valuable lesson. If anything it taught me not to rush into things as much, slow down and believe more in the timing of things. Eek I'm so excited! I showed my best friend last night a quick snippet wanting to make sure she felt calmed, and soothed by it since she is studying for exams at the moment so I thought who better to test this on to see if the blog does what I intended it to: calm, inspire, intrigue. My friend said this: Beautiful, cohesive, captivating and intriguing. Soothing, simple and structured. So I'm happy! She could be biased but not really as I trust her opinion explicitly and know she would set me straight and be totally honest if she didn't like it or think it was off track. She knows me too well.
She's the best and we've lived apart for too long. My best friend from when I went to school in Japan, we only lived in the same place for 2 years and we have spent about 12/13 years in different countries and finally she's moving from NYC to Paris and even though that's not London... it's the closest yet!
