Before I noticed what this woman was wearing, I noticed her striding towards me in the street. Straight back, head up, walking with confidence, purpose and poise. From my very first trip to Paris I noticed the way the woman walked, stood and sat. I found myself pulling my shoulders back, tummy in and standing taller while I was there. The way some of the women glide through the city, certainly adds to their chicness and allure. ...and then there was her outfit - the relaxed green pants, belted high on the waist - rolled to expose the ankle, the oversized white shirt, the tan heeled sandal, the dark painted toenails, the top knot (which, if you scroll down you'll see in a previous post) and then the star of the show... the basket. All very casual, but all very beautifully put together. For all I knew each piece could have been from Chanel or then they could have been from op-shops - it didn't matter. It wasn't about what she was wearing, it was how she was wearing it. "Paris holds the key to her past. Yes, Princess, I've found you at last. No more pretend, you'll be gone, that's the end..." -Dimitri (Disney's Anastasia)
Paris has given me so much inspiration for my thesis project lately. Asking my future hubby if we can adopt a pooka ourselves and take a vacay! This one little street has so much glam! Today is an exciting one! We are exactly 366 days out from our wedding (but who is counting)?! Now it's time to order his ring today!! I met my FH when we were just 13 years old, so in a way he is my Dimitri!
Below tell us about when you met your hubby! I want to know, have you been to Paris?
