A HIDDEN GEM ... Passage du Grand Cerf
Paris is well-known for its many passages; hidden shopping arcades that were created at the end of the 18th century.
They are mysterious and what you’ll find inside is always a surprise.
The Passage du Grand Cerf, is off the tourist map in the 2nd arrondissement, and it links rue Saint-Denis and the Montorgueil neighborhood. Its three-story height and narrowness gives it a stately allure...the glass ceiling is simply breathtaking.
The Passage has a great cafe at one end and several small designer and jewelry shops that sell charming and unique wares.
More about my recent trip to Paris on the blog (link in bio). Swipe right for more pictures. I stayed in the glorious @hotel_bachaumont_paris in the #2ndarrondissement with the best breakfast ever, walking distance from @lesartsdecoratifs for the #christiandior_ad exhibit and close enough to @marilynfeltz who I’ve been stalking on Instagram for a couple of years. Now I was in Paris I HAD to go and see her little shop. I love Marilyn’s designs and prints and her boutique didn’t disappoint. Spent ages in her dressing room where I found amazing art by @nathalie_rattner I came away with a dress and a skirt in the end. En route I found the marvellous #passagedugrandcerf and picked up gorgeous jewellery in @eric_et_lydie and homewares in @lapetiteourse_paris All in all a thoroughly enjoyable Paris trip! #parisrecommendations#visitparis#parishotel#parisshopping#parisboutique#eurostartoparis#marilynfeltzy
