after showing almost zero patience with kai over the weekend, i realized that i needed to apologize. so i confessed that i wasn't treating him respectfully and asked for his forgiveness, to which he replied, "OF COURSE i'll forgive you, mom! and i'll always forgive you because i'll always love jesus." so came lesson number 2957392 i've learned from my son- forgive quickly and readily not because they deserve it, but because you've been forgiven and can't help but let that love overflow from you.
Working on a lot of changes. Hoping to get a functional version of the #dragonflycontinuum website back online next week, then integrate the new additions as I complete them. The #webshop will be reopening soon. New events are on the horizon. Feels like the plans I've been making for years are finally ready to become real. Here's to Aries new moon beginnings.
🌙🐏 In what ways are you letting go of past limitations and preparing for action right now?

Faces of Blossom
Meet: Emily Moore

She is currently coordinating company events, assisting Blossom's lead designer with projects, and helping with marketing.
"Don't be afraid of being different. Be afraid of being the same as everyone else."
Nightingale floors, or uguisubari (鴬張り), were floors designed to make a chirping sound when walked upon. Dry boards naturally creak under pressure, but these floors were designed so that the flooring nails rubbed against a jacket or clamp, causing chirping noises. The squeaking floors were used as a security device, assuring that none could sneak through the corridors undetected.
But even dust was made to settle
And if we’re made of dust, then what makes us any different?
I guess we give what we’ve been given:
A family tree so very good at giving up
When we’ve had enough.
Though truth is heavier than fiction,
Gravity lifts as the projectionist rolls tape.
And it makes us brave again
And it makes us brave again
And it makes us brave.
March is almost over and my April is going to be very busy. First of all I'm working on two amazing magical scenes for my upcoming Helsinki workshop 22-23.04. To unveil the mystery a tiny bit: I want to show the participants how to shoot multiple flying objects, as well as walk through all the steps of post processing and editing such a photo in Ps and Lr. It's going to be totally awesome guys! If you're still thinking, hurry up, there're only a few places left! #valokuvaus#finland_photolovers#vscofinland
