I wanted to quickly talk about LUCK. Some say "luck is a lie", or that "you create your own luck". Generally, I thoroughly believe in those sayings. However, there is no denying that EVERYONE is sometimes dealt bad cards. I had my fair share of "bad luck" last year at school, but guess what? Those situations me SUCH a better person--I'm not exaggerating.
It TRULY is mindset that determines just HOW bad your luck actually is. Get stuck in a bad situation? You can choose to look at it as something to bring you down OR something to OVERCOME.
Most importantly, don't turn every little bump in the road into a big deal. Honestly, taking life too seriously can be a big hinderance to happiness. Laugh it off, dust yourself off, and overcome it like the badass that you are. You'll only be that much happier and stronger afterwards❤️
I have a secret to tell you. DO YOU FIND YOURSELF WORRYING A LOT? ARE YOU ALWAYS FOCUSED ON WHAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED, WHAT WENT WRONG OR HOW YOUR LIFE COULD BE BETTER? Perhaps you think, "I'll just be happy when.... (insert weight on the scale, a certain point in your career, a certain amount in your bank account...). The secret to being happy and successful is not a milestone event or measured in time, numbers or metrics. Gratitude and appreciation for what you have NOW is the key to being happy. The process and journey is where you find your "happy", not a destination or a goal number or achievement. It's great to set goals and intentions - they're essential to growth and achievement. But if you think that getting to that goal is the "be all and end all" of being happy then you will be sorely disappointed. How does an average person go about this though? When you wake up and open your eyes, write down in your phone or a journal (right away) 3-5 things you are GRATEFUL FOR. Your subconscious mind (the part you can't control but shapes the way you act and behave) is still very malleable when you first awaken. By focusing on what you DO HAVE, you shift your focus for the entire day to a realm of focusing on the "HAVES" rather than the "HAVE NOTS" or "NOT ENOUGHS". When you truly believe you have abundance and "enough" you will start to act "as if", which in turn attracts people and opportunities your way. Don't wait for something to go wrong or have something in your life taken away to start valuing the incredible aspects of your life that you have to be grateful for.

My pain started Tuesday night. A build up of silent anger. See, something happened to me after Mr F’s cancer diagnoses but I haven’t blogged about it directly... I have written ambiguously about it. But no one caught on! 😕
My silence is hurting me; literally, my body is in such pain because I won’t express it. I’m suppressing to tell you. And so my Liver is doing it for me. 😭
I thought I’d be ok to share my story on my DIY RETREAT recently, but I Self sabotaged. I’m not ready to speak truth. 😓
I’m the meantime, I’m following my Principle to Self Care; meditation, yoga, juicing, serving my values, living on purpose/passion, healing baths, sun, etc. I’m doing it in the privacy of my own space. When it’s time, I’ll share my insights. 💚

As well as having an absolute blast, I came away with a game plan to help me reconnect with parts of my life that have been seriously neglected. My game is designed around how I love to play and is called Herbert (pending a better idea!). That feeling of waking up in Christmas morning, when you’re so excited you can’t sleep. That is me, today. Even tho I am running on less sleep than recommended, I just couldn’t stay in bed any longer. I had to get up, and fill my cup up! With our girls trip planned today, I knew I needed that extra pick me up beforehand. I can miss my workout & I can miss my shake ( although I would prefer NOT to!) I will not miss my personal development! THIS IS WHERE THE CHANGE HAPPENS. If you don’t believe, pick up a book & prove me wrong 😜 I have a list & even a few you can borrow if you need, but I’m here to tell ya, it’s the most important 30 minutes of my day! 💖
How much do you listen to your body? Are you feeling tired 😴 when you have had decent nights sleep? Do you have cravings that you give in to? 🙁 Do u have headaches and aches and pains? Then your body is trying to tell you to take a look 👀 at what your are feeding it, change some habits and change your whole being, mind and body. Start thinking about the other people. Sometimes you just have to do it for them. Sometimes you have to just get out of your way and say, “okay I am being super selfish right now, I have to do this because Tony over here has his dreams and it’s not going to happen until I do this” that was really what’s on my heart this morning. I am sorry I am getting so deep with you all but these are like real stuff and I just want to keep it real with you and I just think sometimes we are so super short sighted and we really just think that it all revolves around us and it really doesn’t.
