Retrogenia refers to reduced chin projection and can be caused by under development of the lower jaw. It can result in a class 2 malocclusion where the bottom teeth are positioned an abnormally large distance behind the upper teeth. It can also result in a reduced neck length and in combination with weight gain can exacerbate your double chin. This patient underwent a sliding bony genioplasty and submental liposuction to correct the retrogenia and completely redefine her neckline @drguywatts

New exercise tonight... not sure what it's called, but I curled my legs in diagonally from side to side. Was hard! Was able to do two sets of eight. Looking forward to improving in weeks to come! Knees were fine tonight because I spent 40 minutes massaging and stretching before my PT session, so it was worth it!

What amazes me is how tough it is to do when I first wake up during my morning stretch but hours into the day, it's so easy and comfortable.
