Hello people. Today I'm sharing a post other than baking. You must be wondering who is this Grandpa on my feed..If you want to know more then read on.
I came across a video on Youtube that said ‘sponge cake without the oven’. Being a baker I was curious and clicked the link. What I saw in the video amazed me. An old man was making sponge cake over the stove top but it was one which was fuelled by firewood. But what was even more amazing was that he was making it to give it to kids at an orphanage. It instantly brought tears to my eyes. I was amazed at the fact that he cooks with such love for these kids despite his age. He was doing his bit to put a smile on the faces of these kids. I immediately subscribed to the channel. He also reminded me a lot of my late Grandpa.
This Grandpa not only cooks for orphans but also for homeless people. Thanks to people who have been sponsoring him he is now able to celebrate birthdays of the orphan kids too. .
His channel is almost reaching 1 million subscribers. I would request you if your reading this to please visit the channel and show some love. He also has a patreon page where you can sponsor if you like. Or you can simply subscribe on Youtube to show your support.
Simply search for ‘Grandpa kitchen’ on Youtube or check the link in my bio.
Please also share with family and friends so we can spread the love around.
Whenever I get a notification for a new video from this channel I like it even before watching and don't skip any ads either. I love watching videos of this sweet Grandpa with his infectious tooth less smile.
I usually don't share such posts but I wanted to spread word of someone who is doing self less acts in this day and age. We definitely need more people like him in this world.

All around the world there are likely many discussions occurring about issues men and boys face because today is "International Men's Day"! Key topics (known as pillars) are:
1) Men's and boys' health (e.g., shorter life span than females)
2) Improving gender relations
3) Promoting gender equality
4) Highlighting male role models
5) Highlight discrimination against men and boys
6) Celebrate men and boys achievements and contributions (e.g., in community, family, marriage, child care)
To the men and boys in my life, love you to bits. I will listen and verbalized my appreciation more and help the boys in my life grow into strapping male role models and the men grow as old as women.
I have been fortunate to have worked along side men since I was 15years old (up until I became a RN). The best mentor in my life is a man and an engineer-my dad. Dad taught me hands on (oil and all) about various aircraft, aircraft fuselages, riveting, fibreglass repair, lock wiring, the list goes on....Dad taught me valuable lessons as a young girl working in a predominantly male environment... No matter who you are, hard work pays off. No one gives you anything, you have to earn it. Most importantly dad tells me "stick with it, you can do it"! Those few words have fuelled so many positive actions in my life. An honest truth for me is men are so much easier to work with 😄(unless your my best friend Mila), so brave (Mila too) and pretty adventurous (Mila too)! Ultimately, I am so grateful for men. I hold a special place in my heart for men who have grownup with childhood trauma, who grow and learn from their experiences and choose to better themselves by being everything except what they grew up with. It takes believing in someone, letting them hear the words. No one can hear thoughts, as rewarding as thoughts are, thoughts are not enough. Communication is key. Today, is the perfect day to communicate and listen to what the men and boys in our lives have to say about today! Over and out.
On This Day I Wish My MUM Was Alive😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 How She Would Have Taken Her Place Right Beside Her Romeo😭😭😭😭 Holding On To Her ADORABLE FOURTH GRANDCHILD.....Who Am I To Question God? My mom caused a commotion yesterday while riding the MRT train with us. After attaining vast quantities of toys and candies from our Treat or Treat event in the office (2 large eco bags, and two other medium bags' worth. And yes, the event was called Treat or Treat 😊), my mom saw that there were a lot of kids who were carrying their empty halloween pumpkin bags. Without hesitation, she grabbed one of the large eco bags from me, and proceeded to shout "Trick or Treat!" Continuously while holding out candies to the kids. Of course, at first people hesitated, but no one can say no to my mom's genuine smile and happiness, as she was in her element. Her joy is the gift of giving. Taking her cue, I proceeded to open our other large eco bag's worth of goodies and gave them all away. Everyone who took our goodies were extremely grateful. I wasn't able to capture it as i was too busy giving everything out before we reach our stop. All the video can provide are some smiles, my mom getting more goodies from her almost empty bag, and her saying "Trick or Treat!". My mom, who is at her happiest when giving, taught everyone present in that area a lesson. That being selfless doesn't require anything else but a pure heart. That random acts of kindness can be given, at anytime, anywhere, at any circumstance. I was honored that my daughter Savie, niece Tati and nephew Craig got to witness it. I will never forget this. (Tearing up as I wrote this ❤) And when we reached home, I realized, a tradition has been formed. Next year, mom and I will most definitely invade the MRT again (it was their first time to ride that train yesterday) and fill those pumpkin baskets with goodies.
Love u Mama. You are amazing. PS. Sorry for posting this. I know that you don't have makeup on and u were sweaty. But i just want to let everyone know how proud i am of u. ❤👏👏👏 #RandomActsOfKindness#TrickOrTreat#generosity#Giving#philantrophist#Halloween#MamaRoseSaMrt#MyMamaRose#TeamRomero
