If your child is getting older & still saying words like "tup" for "cup" or "das" for "gas," this may indicate phonological process disorder. In addition, if your child only says one consonant at the beginning of a word instead of both (i.e. saying "boken" for broken or "poon" for spoon), you might consider meeting with a speech-language pathologist to evaluate your child's speech & determine if treatment is recommended. #speechtherapy

Here’s a nice example of #babycode found by #anseljr and I on our recent expeditions. If you don’t know baby code, well, it wouldn’t be a code if you could easily decipher it, would it. The museum docent had asked earlier if the class spoke another language at home. Many in the class raised their hands... “Spanish.” “Chinese” “Vietnamese” etc. Ansel Jr. looked at me, smiled and whispered, “Baby code?” Yes. Baby code counts. #❤️
Those last two lines though... Those are for folks more fluent in that dialect of baby code. ——————————————#😂 #dadsanddaughters#phonetics#phonics#phonology#phonism#california#alberttheeagle#kidsart#obestfrenz #🦅 #🍎 #⭐️❤️⭐️❤️
"Ogar Francis, me I don't understand you oh. You're the only person in this office that don't patronize me...abi you no dey load card?" Truly, as I sat down there I believe Jennifer my colleague was speaking the truth.
I spend a lot when it comes to the use of the internet. Watching YouTube videos on science, technology, philosopher, literature, documentaries, phonology and debates. I also download videos offline and upload videos to my YouTube channel too. Because of this, 1 GB can finish in less than two weeks.
I don't just visit these informative sites, but I try my best to drop kind words or comment on them. I learn a lot from the responses too.
My family and friends have indeed supported me to subscribe for data plans. As always, thank you for the sponsorship!

So, last Friday I used these Spencer Spy books, with my self contained SLD primary class, to target /s/ blends and dropping sounds. I wanted to share how successful of a lesson this was. First off, these books use auditory bombardment in a very different way, not only getting the students to HEAR tons of /s/ blends, but also to hear Spencer’s cousin Stan, drop the /s/ in all of his words, and how that completely changes the meaning of a word (top/stop). I used the books with a projector that day (Smart Board was not working properly), typically I’ll use my books for a whole group class on the Smart Board (pre-k kids, I’ll use a laminated version). Anyhow, after the lesson, we talked about “what if I dropped the first sound in your name?” (as I called on each student, I dropped the initial sound in their name so they could hear how silly that sounded and just plain wrong 😉). Then each student had to tell me an /s/ blend from the story as I used a red dry erase marker to write the /s/ and a blue dry erase to write the rest of the word. We had a list of 16 words at the end (there are tons more in the books), the kids loved the silly stories, they were super engaged, and I printed out a small Spencer Spy poster for the teacher to hang and use when reminding her class to use clear speech (because Spencer Spy is always listening 🕵🏻). I’ll be using these with my other school this week, for sure. I’m so pleased with what a great whole group lesson it was. And we targeted lots of other language goals too! 🕵🏻🕵🏻♀️ .
Why this title?🤔
I choose "Christmas" for today's photo because you can see what I call Pessebre which is a scene with figures depicting the birth of Jesus.

Why this title?🤔
I choose "Straight" for today's photo because you can see a path without a curve.
