"Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see, and everything to do with the way you see them" - Elliott Erwitt. How do you like to challenge yourself with your photography? Photo by @youkey0320r

Every lens has it’s purpose, just like the artist that has several brushes for different tasks, I have lenses for specific tasks. I like the old FD lenses for people and lifestyle photography. For the images I post on Lensclassics, I prefer a much more perfect lens in technical terms. This Leica APO Macro Elmarit 100/2.8 has been used on 95% of my images here. It’s extremely sharp, shows no CA and has a really nice color rendition. The mechanics are incredible and perfect for this purpose. The extremely long focus throw of 720 degrees makes critical focusing so easy. When you’re out in the field, the long focus throw becomes a disadvantage for time critical photography. If these features are beneficial for your photography, consider the Leica AME.
