Me at age 21 vs age 31.
I wanted to post this to show that the way I look now isn't due to lucky genetics; it's due to education, hard work, and patience.
At 21 I was around 205 lbs with a 38-inch waist and a 42-inch chest. I smoked 40 cigarettes a day and only ate junk and fast food.
At 31 I was 170 lbs with a 30-inch waist and a 44-inch chest.
Now, a year later at age 32, I'm up to 177 lbs. My waist measurement is the same, but my chest is an inch bigger.
Overall, I'd guess that I've lost 40-45 lbs of pure body fat and built 10-15 lbs of lean muscle tissue.
All of this through learning about proper nutrition and functional training. If I could go back to age 21 with the knowledge I have now, I believe I could make the same transformation in 18-24 months.
