DEADLIFT SET UP FIX 🕵️
Foot placement seems like a simple concept right? It might be obvious to a lot of intermediate to experienced lifters.. But I’ve seen a few guys and gals making the mistake of pulling the weight up from a pretty crappy position.
Having the bar set up over your toes means the weight is probably out in front of you and not only means you’ll put yourself in a pretty vulnerable position, but you’ll also make the lift much harder for yourself.
Setting the bar up over your shoe laces/close to your shins/over your mid foot is a MUCH better and stronger position to execute the lift from.
You will be able to generate more power as you’ll have much better leverage, and you’ll give yourself the best chance to deadlift the weight without putting yourself at risk.
Slow cooked Simple and easy Chicken Roast 🍗🍗 Recipe by Marco Fonseca
Cooking time 1hr 20min
Preparation time 15min
1 tsp Kosher salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp grounded mixed herbs
2 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
Preheat the oven to 200°c
Wash the chicken and dry well with paper towels.
Place the full chicken on a baking dish with the chicken breast facing up.
Mix all the ingredients and apply well over the whole chicken and keep aside for 5min.
Cover the chicken with a foil and roast for 1hr and take off the foil and further roast for 20min until the chicken is golden brown.This will also give a lovely salty crisp on top.
Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 10min.
Serve with a warm mixed vegetable stir fry.
