🌍 India was our biggest challenge. Working the spirituality between a lot of noise and madness, to find happiness between a lot of poverty and dirt was something that demanded us a huge destruction of concepts. We don’t know yet what will be the consequences of that experience on our lifes, but we can notice that a bit has already changed here inside. 🦋💙

————————— The painted stork is a large wader in the stork family. It is found in the wetlands of the plains of tropical Asia south of the Himalayas in the Indian Subcontinent and extending into Southeast Asia. They immerse their half open beaks in water and sweep them from side to side and snap up their prey of small fish that are sensed by touch. As they wade along they also stir the water with their feet to flush hiding fish.
EN: Being now in India we learned a lot about India life and problems. What is very sad to me as an European woman is the inferior position accorded to women. They do not enjoy equal status and their condition is far from satisfactory. Indian families prefer sons, and female infants are consequently neglected. They are still separated from the main stream of standard life. There are signs of improvement, for example the percentage rate of studying women amounts to 60% in comparison to 40% of studying boys. I hope that their position will get higher in the next few years.
