want stronger, more flexible hips and longer, more toned legs? here's a good sequence to add to your routine: side-lying adductor-abductor leg lifts! you will feel this in your inner thighs, your outer hips, and your obliques. this is a great exercise for working on balance, stamina and lateral hip and torso flexibility. control is what you're after; rather than swinging the legs as high as possible, focus on keeping your waist, spine and legs as long as possible #goforlengthnotforheight. to keep the work out of your neck and shoulders, pull your head away from your spine.

3. parallel side kicks

hahaha! God knows how lazy I was... but I got out of the couch and did my workout! 45min! That's it! -
Don't give excuses to your self, you are the only one who you are betraying! -
My body was a bit weak, so I kept giving me excuses to not workout, it was all bullshit! Yes, I wouldn't be able to do any high intensity or high impact so instead of keeping giving me excuses to not workout, I searched for something more suitable for me today. That's the beauty of this program, I can find tons of workouts. So today I did a hybrid of yoga-pilates-ballet! Low impact, not boring, hard enough but also relaxing! 潑
I did sweat, I did pumped my heart and I also stretched while holding the poses. 
Now I'm happy 元潑儭返滕潑

Este m矇todo foi criado pelo alem瓊o Joseph Pilates durante a primeira guerra mundial, dependendo do n穩vel inicial de condicionamento f穩sico de cada praticante o m矇todo pode aumentar a for癟a, flexibilidade e resist礙ncia muscular. 
Este tipo de treinamento possui muitos adeptos, sendo assim, 矇 importante avaliar alguns par璽metros relacionados com a sa繳de e qualidade de vida, como por exemplo a glicemia.

Um estudo foi realizado com o objetivo de avaliar os valores glic礙micos ap籀s uma sess瓊o de Pilates.(Rev.Bras.Fis.Exerc. Vol.10 Num.4-2011).
Este estudo foi composto por 11 volunt獺rios (8 mulheres e 3 homens), todos praticantes de Pilates por no m穩nimo 2 meses e m獺ximo de 1 ano.

Como resultado, os pesquisadores observaram uma redu癟瓊o significativa da glicemia ap籀s uma aula de Pilates.

Elephant time!! Quite a few great variations with elephant make it that much better (this one focusing on finding the deep low abdominals which releases the hip flexors)!!!  It looks like I'm not doing much but omg this is such an amazing exercise. While it is a nice stretch for the hamstrings and backline as well as shoulder stability and hip disassociation, it is really working through maintaining flexion and allowing the hip flexors to release allowing the abdominals to turn on a bit to find that stability, control and resistance as you close the carriage - feels awesome (in this version focusing on the lower back which is great for scoliosis). Feet are grounded as are the arms and you work through keeping that length and building strength through that lengthened line . Yes there are versions where you can put the feet against the shoulder rests and yes there are versions in different footbar positions and yes you can play with pressing away from the footbar more or rounding the back into the thoracic more so try them all and see what you like!  For scoliosis, this is my concave upper side and flexion although feels impossible is gently maintained in this beautiful exercise that I love . Press slightly more through the concave sided arm to achieve more openness in those ribs. It's not a bad idea to use a more stable surface to place hands on ( i.e. an elevated box or table like a Pilates Cadillac ) - but if you do use an equalizer bar, please make sure your shoulders are stacked over wrists and bar and don't shift your weight :) Upper body and core get serious work through stabilization and the quads on the leg pressing into the ball will be on fire! Enjoy that歹
