One year. This is going to be a long, gushy post. Get ready. In September of last year, I asked one of the only teachers I've ever really respected for some advice. We spoke about the prospect of making pins and whether or not it was a good idea. I think it was obvious I was trying to convince myself more than I was trying to convince him. He told me to go for it, the worse that could happen was that it wouldn't sell. At the time, I had just quit my job of 3 years to invest all of my time into graduating on schedule. I was down to my last $200. This was a stupid move on my part. But I went for it. At lunch a few days later, I showed my best friends what I had been working on. They told me to go for it. I spent the last of my saving perusing a dumb artistic venture. I've never regretted anything less. On October 17, 2016 my first pin went up for sale. On October 28 I made my first sale. Since then, I have connected with some of most goddamn amazing people in the world. I've traded with some of the best people out there. I have filled orders for the most wonderful people all over the planet. The stuff I've made has been places I have never been and are now a part of a life I will never live. It still blows my mind when people I don't know want something I've done. One year later, I still get excited whenever an order comes in. I still think people have made some sort of mistake when they order something. One year. If you're still reading this, thank you. Thank you for your orders. Thank you for your likes. Thank you for your comments. This wouldn't have been possible without every single person who I have interacted with in the last year. A special thank you goes out to my best friends. Thank you for supporting me even in those moments when I get down on myself. Thank you for responding to my 3:00 AM text messages of "DOES THIS LOOK FUCKED UP?!" Thank you for wearing my shit when you don't have to. Here's to however much longer I'll have the privilege of doing this. Here's to you guys. Thanks! If you read that entire mess. Enjoy 20% off of your order on me! Use code OHGODWHAT at checkout. Expires on October 20th at 11:59 PM CST.

This fabric covered corkboard was the inspiration behind our Corkies: cork-magnets. Any collection of pins is beautiful, but always growing and that means rearranging your boards. Vintage fabric and collectible fabric is not fond of being riddled with pin holes and neither are we fond of a plain corkboard!
The solution? Magnetic corkies so that we can have our beautiful pinboards, rearrange our collection as many times as we want, and have our cake too while we're at it because it's so simple to do! 😍😎
This board as seen is before transforming it into a magnetic pinboard and thus salvaging the fabric before ruining it with adding the rest of our growing pin collection! We're not *not* going to rearrange when we find the 8th and final pin of our Disney Haunted Mansion glow pin set!!!!
