Happy Saturday y’all! What are you guys up to? Russ is out of town, and Ivy Jean and I just got to my parents house to hang out (check my story to see). It’s so peaceful here! I’m kinda obsessed with this tunic sweater! Comes in multiple colors, but I’m loving this pink! 💕 http://liketk.it/2tjHn #liketkit @liketoknow.it
It’s rainy, my legs feel like logs from yesterday’s miles...with more miles to go today. Was NOT feeling it - until I looked over and saw my gift from @mcf_aito - my beautifully spirited friend of 30+ years who somehow knows the perfect gift serves as inspiration as well as function. Here’s to @mcf_aito and @sycamorekitty : Dope AS sisters supporting each other thru good times and those that are a little less. I’ll be lacing up my pink #mizuno 21s in a moment. 💕🖤💕
Thanks to all my friends and family supporting me thru this crazy dream.💗 and miles (if you want them!) to all y’all.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming...
Thank you all so much for joining in on the #Runlove 12 days of giveaways! It was so much fun and a great success! I love the running community so much and absolutely adore how this little square world of running really sticks together in helping to build each each other up, cheer each other on, inspire and empower each other. We are all here for the same reason, to share our love for running, to encourage others to be the best they can be, to teach each other that it’s ok when a race or training run doesn’t go as planned and most importantly, to be kind to one another. I’ve heard people knock down social media in terms of negativity. I have found that the running community on IG is more positive than I ever could have imagined. No one makes fun of another’s pace, no one makes fun of another’s photo/post, no one makes fun of what distance you race, no one makes fun of how you look in a sports bra...this community builds confidence, pride & a realness of what a community and friendships should be...honest, compassionate & real. Unfortunately in the real world, some people don’t see the positive in what is being posted on social media and feel the need to knock down others. Shouldn’t we all be supporting one another? Especially friends!
My mom always said “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”
I love to run and truly believe that when we runners stick together, good things transpire 🙌🏼 as always, inhale the good S*%T, exhale the bullshit 💩
Happy running & happy Sunday!
