It’s OK to do nothing. Last Friday I had a duvet day. I felt like crap (a nasty PMT and sugar detox combo!) So all I did was lie on the sofa and watch Netflix or write in my journal.
As a working single mama I’malways on the go and there’s always more to do. I feel guilty if I do nothing. But sometimes it all gets too much and you have to admit defeat and hide in your bed, or the sofa binge watching Gilmore Girls.
I also think it’s worth deliberately scheduling a day to do this. Just before the Christmas madness sets in perhaps so you can recharge the batteries before chaos hits!
Go on, have a duvet day!
"¿Y si aprendemos a volar? ¿Y si nos quitamos la venda de los ojos? ¿Y si nos despojamos del miedo? ¿Y si nos arriesgamos? ¡Seríamos libres!" 📖✏️ Tengo muchos proyectos, algunos empezados y otros aún no. Pero lo importante es arriesgarse a cumplirlos. Porque cuando haces lo que realmente quieres, la vida te va poniendo delante todo lo que necesites para tu evolución. Si confías en eso no tienes nada que temer. 🌌

I’ve been off Instagram for a while because I’ve been dreaming, planning, and creating. It’s been so much fun putting together a new business, and doing it all from right here at my kitchen table, while the kiddies play around me. I’ve spent most of the winter hunkered down working hard on putting together printable packs for people to brainstorm their best lives on.
You see, I wanted to create something unique that embraced all of the things I loved: my obsession with stationery, brainstorming on paper, and putting together plans for life. So, Incited has become my platform to share these creations with the world. I thought I was alone in my love for planning on paper. Everyone else seemed to be going crazy for the latest app or technology they could use, but I hated it all. Give me a good ol’ pen and paper planning session any day. And, I’ve discovered I’m not alone. There are still paper lovers in the world. Tag a friend who you know who is a stationery freak, and follow the link in my bio to discover printables waiting for you to plan, doodle and scribble on. Use them to brainstorm your best life, and make today the beginning of whatever you want.
HOW TO ORGANISE YOUR TIME
In today's world it is very important to organise your time. We need to arrange 24 hours every day to study, rest, earn money, meals and we should do it effectively. Sometimes it is very difficult, but you need to plan your day and do not waste time. In this article I will give some advice about planning a day.
1. Create a to-do list that includes how much time you'll spend on each activity. Such lists help you to distribute your time.
2. Complete the most important tasks first: it’s one of the main rules in the organisation of time. Mark two or three important tasks each day and do them first.
3. Learn to say “no”. If you are asked to help and it will take a lot of time, which you don’t have, learn to say no. Of course, it should be done politely and you should explain that you're busy right now.
4. Don't waste a lot of time on social networks and TV. At first, make your appointments and then check Instagram or Youtube.
5. Train various qualities in yourself: try to be patient, challenging, determined, ambitious and purposeful.
6. Think of all the elements needed to finish the task. Pre-planning saves the time and organises the process.
I’ve been keeping the #weeklyspreads inside my personal planner pretty simple these days. I made some stickers to help me keep track of certain things and I’m loving how functional my pages are. They may not be the prettiest but they sure do work for me. 🍁🍂🍁
How many books do you read a month? Do you borrow from the library? Or buy them? I won’t say how much I spend each month on books, but it’s more than my polka dot piggy bank likes. I love new books so much! I like to curl up by the window and read. If I could, I would every day. This little study nook in my house is one of my favorite reading/writing spots. But lately I’ve been wondering if I should try to make a book budget. Which means, I’ll spend less time reading in my book nook. Hmmmm...I can’t decide how I feel about that.
I’d love to hear what you think. Comment below. .
