I went to Middleton Place Plantation this morning. It was super interesting. The house was built in 1775. Because of Charleston's low elevation (hence why it's called Low Country), it was a perfect place to grow rice because the rice fields would flood naturally. The original owner started cultivating these amazing gardens and it became America's First Landscaped Gardens. It was absolutely gorgeous. The picture of that big tree is an Oak estimated to be almost 1000 years old!! Native American tribes used to use it as a landmark prior to the land being taken over by the Middletons. The original house was destroyed by the Union army after the war and then again by an earthquake in the 1800s, but one of the outhouses was in good enough shape to restore for the family's use afterward. I truly wish I would have had more time to spend on this gorgeous property!! .

Always remember your children watch your actions, how you treat and deal with others and they watch your life. That's the important part. They only listen to some of your words.🤔#love#blessings#dedication#God#Jesus#chef#hardwork#volunteer#giving#jalexanders#goat#payitforward#realestate#realtor#networking#integrity#support#miami#plantation#hollywood#miramar#miamibeach#dania#davie @chancetherapper ❤️ Tia's your biggest fan #homeimprovement#ftlauderdale @miamidolphins @miamiheat #california#atlanta @atlantafalcons #coconutgrove#deerfieldbeach
Seeing the Oak Alley plantation today was a really awesome experience, especially learning about all that went on here and I loved the fact that they didn't sugarcoat the history of this place. Thanks for taking us! @chandanielsen
" may take me a little longer cuz I don't dickride or kiss ass.. oh & I enjoy the writing process.. thinking it, writing it, saying it to myself, scratching it out or deleting it (in this writing in your phone era)..& writing somethin better. Maybe it's therapeutic for me & I'm cool wit that. No disrespect to the off the top of the head freestylers or the punch me in recording.. everyone has a process, & does what works for them. But I'm almost there... ✍🏾
