If you missed my Insta story a few days ago...we spent one night in a motel on our last 2,000km stretch of driving so we could drive into the night a little, sleep then wake up early and hit the road again. It was our first night in beds in 4months since we've been living in the tipi...I don't think anyone liked the motel to be honest 😅
I'm day two deep in editing our 360 Vlog videos from the trip to Far North Queensland. It's an open playing field with VR in its infancy in terms of storytelling, and I'm approaching the edits in a much different approach than usual, with the goal to teleport you to each destination 🌏 It's a lot of fun! Simultaneously, we are now in pre-prep mode for our next trip, counting down the next 8 weeks until we board our flights to India! We'll be crossing Asia over 3+ months, filming the adventure, and sharing the stories of those we meet along the way. Exciting times 😅
They don't teach this in schools... @theaniccaway on her recent journey to Far North Queensland covering 8,000kms by car in just 3 weeks, with two energetic sons in tow. Their day cutting a didgeridoo in the bush with Aboriginal elder Joseph was one of those special moments of 'life education' for the kids that await ya'll out there 👁
#segundasemcarne#segundavegana
Breakfast is served! By 'living' in a tipi as a single mum I've been able to save immensely on private housing, investing my freelance income instead on quality organic local vegan produce and of course travel. This is my health insurance policy, and gives me the energy, creativity and positive mindset I need to sustain a life of permanent traveling with two young boys 🍃
This is my babe of a mumma, somewhere in South America (Peru? @rose.howell) in the 70s. Tonight my boyfriend and I were discussing the topic of overcoming fears and living outside our comfort zones, and it made me think of how travel is the one thing I don't fear but how many people do...Mum left Australia at age 20 and didn't come home for 10 years, venturing to 66 countries with just a backpack, and back in those days I think that was a rare and extremely brave thing to do. Travel is extremely transformative. It helps us think outside the box, break down communication barriers, and overcome our fears. Are you ready to step outside the box, travel more and unleash your most authentic self? What's holding you back? Let go and live the journey 🌏
Good morning 🌅 when I first went vegan buffets were a source of serious stress for me! But you learn the hacks and tips to finding delicious food everywhere.... I didn't even explore the omelette bar (my stomach is only so big!) but went with potatoes and mushrooms and oatmeal with fresh fruit.... tip.... if you're feeling indulgent add a little pancake syrup to your oatmeal.... yummm!!!!!
Ten steps in front of our camp lies this pristine beach, and the best place to hit the mat for a few morning asanas. I've fallen out of my daily practice a bit since being on the road, but I'm grateful to witness myself without yoga and realize just how much better I flow with a daily practice. 5,000kms in 3 weeks and another 1,000kms to go in just over a day...live the journey 🦋 @divinegoddessyogaproducts
