• Tips for visiting Kew Gardens in London •
1 ~ If you live in U.K. join the membership or if you are visiting London for more than one day buy the London Pass.
2 ~ Skip visiting Kew Gardens on a rainy day.
3 ~ I would suggest to spend the whole day at Kew. The Gardens are 300 acres.
4 ~ Kew is a photographers paradise. Do not forget your camera or battery charger for your phone.
5 ~ Wear a jacket that is easy to take off. Glasshouses are hot and humid.
6 ~ Get a @geo_fleur pin designed for @kewgardens 🙌🏼
My *supposed* Yucca brevifolia, aka Joshua Tree! These seeds were purchased from Joshua Tree National Park. Only one has germinated so far, but it's been happily living in the greenhouse. Anyone else have experience growing Joshua Trees? ☺️🌱🏞
Did you know tulips were once worth more than Gold? In Holland during 1624, people made and lost fortunes over tulips. In fact, one Rembrandt bulb once went for $1,200 which, at that time was the cost of a house!! With that said, we have tulip and daffodil bulbs available here for as little as .95 cents ;) #didyouknow#tulipmania#tulips 🌷 #daffodils#worthmorethangold#plantsarecool
Ved den her hastighed, så kan jeg muligvis nyde et "hjemmegroet" spidskål engang næste år. 😂👌🏻 For en uge siden, skar jeg alle bladene af, og den skyder sådan nogle fine, nye blade, inde fra midten. 🌱 #plantsarecool
