The Case for Edwin Jackson's playoff roster spot: Edwin Jackson is the Nationals' 5th starter but has performed at a very high level. Jackson has a 2.92 ERA in the 2017 season. The 1-4 pitchers of the Nats rotation is pretty much a lock for the postseason: Scherzer, Strasburg, Gonzalez, Roark. But with how well Jackson has performed, there could be a possibility of him pitching in the bullpen during October. Do you think he should be on the playoff roster?
Continuing my top 50 players of all time countdown-
35. Jason Kidd
One of the best guards of the 2000s, kidd used his length and passing skilld to become one of the best playmakers ever, and one of the best rebounders at his size. Extremely inefficient player, but his all around game was fantastic. Developed a jumper as his career moved forward, and became a pretty decent shooter from 3. Led the nets to 2 straight finals appearances and was a factor on the 2011 mavs championship team.
Remembered for his dunking, but was much more than that. A completely amazing scorer and one of the most athletic players, well, ever. He could score at will and even won a scoring title in '86, and even at his frail frame could lockdown guards and forwards. Another guy who had a rocky jumper at the start and then made it decent. Good free throw shooter as well. Too bad he didnt win any championships
33. Clyde the glide
One of my favorite players to watch. In a sense, the glide was scottie pippen without the elite defense. Drexler was also an amazing passer too, and didnt use the 3pt shot often until it was more utilized in the NBA. He was a tremendous help on Olajuwons second championship and was an explosive player.
35. John "Hondo" havlicek
34. George mikan
33. "The admiral" David robinson
