At first glance, what we at musluv are all about is protecting soft baby skin against our harsh Australian sun. And that is certainly true, but... That's not the whole story, not at all.
When I first had my son Alex, I went through the same kinds of up-and-down emotions that most new parents go through.
True love, deep exhaustion, rattiness, joy, misery - the whole works.
The one thing that helped me navigate these extremes of emotion was getting out of the house and talking to other grown-up people. Even the simplest of interactions with the outside world made me feel like I was a real human being again, not just one who was at the beck and call of this small, dribbly, funny, beautiful baby.
But the one emotion that didn't really go away was worry. I worried about all sorts of things, but a big one was whether I was properly taking care of my newborn.
I developed the musluv covers because I wanted to take away some of that worry for new parents. I wanted them to feel free to get out of the house and connect with people without the anxiety of wondering whether they were doing enough to protect their baby.
So what kinds of things worry you about your baby? And what helps you?
*Blowing raspberries* I think it's the funniest thing when babies start to blow raspberries😛. It helps with their speech and eating skills later on - a kind of work out for the lips and tongue. But most of all it's just delightful and almost impossible for me not to respond with a raspberry of my own!
Over two billion years, the Colorado River has slowly cut into each layer of rock exposing the Earth's geologic history in a beautiful, dramatic, and even grand fashion. Every #NationalPark is where I find my park because there is nothing I love more than getting #outside and exploring our beautiful world.
If you haven’t been to Burney Falls, put it on your Bucket List right now. It is so breathtaking I had what can only be described as a mystical experience there. We hiked down into the pool where the water cascades & creates a cool mist which kissed our skin and danced with rainbow prisms of light. McArthur- Burney Falls State Park is fed by a natural spring and was dubbed the "Eighth Wonder of the World" by President Teddy Roosevelt. It's so important to protect our parks! Is anyone planning on visiting a State or National Park this Labor Day weekend? #burneyfalls#californiastateparks#nationalparks#pledgetoprotect#magic#magicquotes#scottcunningham

I'm going to quote @jimmy_chin here because he said it best..."I've experienced many of my most inspiring, moving and humbling moments in the epic landscapes of our national parks and national monuments. Besides their intrinsic value, these are the places we play in, share experiences that shape us, find adventure, find peace. Under the new administration, twenty-seven national monuments are under review with the potential for these one-of-a-kind places to be left unprotected or inaccessible to the American public. If you care to protect these wild places for future generations, for your kids, please take two minutes and hit the link in my bio. It would be great if you considered making your voice heard on why these places are so important to you. Today is the last day of the commenting period so don't put it off! Thanks for considering..." #keeppubliclandspublic#pledgetoprotect#nationalparks#findyourpark
